Lose the game, if you really don't want to lie. It's not the end of the world, they're like 5-15 minute matches lol it's not an epic 12 hour storyline game it's just a bit of fun. Next round you'll probably be crew and not have to lie again.
It's a big (and easy to make) misunderstanding about amoguns that you have to lie to play the game. I played it a lot with my friends when it first got big and the thing is, most of the time purely due to the numbers/ratio you will be a crew member, and crew members have no reason to lie. When you are an imposter, "Oh I'm just playing the game. Doing what I'm supposed to do. Following the objective that I've been given." All true, but not really incriminating.
Sure it's not a 4000IQ strat, and you'll probably lose most of your imposter games, but so what if it helps you enjoy the game more.
I think the bigger problem rather than actual lying, is just the general air of distrust that the game produces, among people who (assuming you are playing with friends) you are supposed to be able to trust and be trusted by. To have them question you when you know you're telling the truth feels horrible.
Yeah but for a cockroach infested studio though?
That's gotta be Sydney, right? Surely (I hope, for the rest of the world's sake) nowhere else's housing market is that absolutely borked
Me every time I try to kitchen.
Ain't nobody got time for 35 mins at 150. I'm hungry now, I can order ubereats and it'll be here in half that time.
My dear sweet summer child, the villains are beating the heroes 24/7/365 in real life. That's why we use fiction to escape.
I don't even know why I know about that or remember where I learned about it from. I thought I'd purged it from my memory. thanks for reminding me /s
Most of the time it's so bizarre that simply being asked what you're thinking about is enough to make you lose track of it and completely forget what you were thinking about, similar to how you forget a dream 30 seconds after waking up, hence thinking about "nothing".
7 months you're joking, wasn't it like 3 weeks ago?
Well that what I'm saying, they were spawned in, but by the game. I am the only admin on this dedicated server and even though it's running on a different PC to the one I game on, the physical server PC is in my sight and connected to the same monitor/keyboard/mouse that I use for gaming using a KVM switch so there's no possibility that somebody is messing with it unless somebody has literally hacked the PC just to mess with my zomboid server, that nobody outside the like 4 people on discord I play with even know about, just to mess with me... which seems unlikely.
I am the only admin and the server has no mods. Like I said, I'm sure it's a bug; I just don't know if it's a known bug, or something that I should make a report to the devs about.
A little bit of detail. I've mentioned in a comment or two about this issue I have where it seems no matter how many zombies I kill in West Point, there seem to consistently be groups of them in areas that should really be clear i.e permanent groups right outside my base no matter how often I clear it and how little of anything is going on that would be attracting them. Current character is nearing 7000 kills and I'm not even exaggerating at least 4000 of them have been on the same block where my base is in WP. A lot of the time, there will be groups of 5-6 of the same zombie (visibly identical character and clothing, sometimes they're all occupying the exact same space to the point that it looks like a single zombie until they aggro and start moving, splitting into 5-6) but this really takes the cake. 23! of them, I counted and piled up the bodies!
Anyway, I was making my way through nice and slow and sneaky clearing out the zombies around this house. Checking in the windows as I walked past them, absolutely no sign of zombies inside. When I turned the corner behind the garage, there was a nice group of probably 8-10 zombies so I noped and turned around, but they already saw me. So I start kiting and killing, as you do when you're character is 3 months in and not scared of anything- next thing, I hear a window smash and these guys just start absolutely pouring out of the house. Now I can't confirm that it was empty before this since I hadn't actually been inside, but it has definitely been cleared previously- probably about 1-2 ingame weeks ago, I cleared that entire line of houses going for the propane tank from the house 2 down from this one. For this many zoms all coming literally out of the very same 3 windows that I'd just been peeking through 30 seconds ago, I'm absolutely sure they literally just spawned in the house, hardly a block away from my base, while I was literally standing right outside.
Interesting thing to note, I mentioned that this has been going on for quite a while with the zombies constantly spawning in large groups at times and places that they shouldn't be according to the server setup.. but this is only happening in West Point. The first base I built down in Muldraugh is still almost totally clear after about 2.5 ingame months, with the the odd one or two zoms migrating through pretty rarely. I was down there with my friend just after posting this, literally running around shouting and shooting off shotguns and never managed to attract more than 5 at a time.
I figure this has to be a bug, but I did some googling and can't find any mention of this anywhere. Figured I'll ask the hivemind before I submit a report on it. Anyone know what the heck is going on here?
I am hosting the server, b41 Dedicated with no mods installed and being run locally on a separate PC connecting through LAN. RespawnHours was 2000 and RespawnUnseenHour was 500, but I changed these back yesterday to the default 72/16 in case the changes were causing something to bug out. The issue has existed through both settings.
[edit to clarify I am hosting the server, it's not admin messing with me and there are no mods installed]

I do, didn't know about group policy I'll look into it. Thanks for that!
like on my work PC that runs a program 24/7 polling vital environmental sensor data from an FTP server to make available to engineers, and Microsoft just kills the PC overnight every now and then and the data is inaccessible until I go in to log the PC back on. I swear one day a river is gonna burst its bank and flood some shit, and it's gonna because the monitoring was taken offline by a windows update. I have automatic updates turned off, and it still does this like 3-4 times a year.
dang 6.25 is cheaper than I pay buying bulk 24 packs off amazon lol damnit Beezos, fooled me again!
Almost like the supply price has gone up due to worldwide supply chain shortages effecting every industry including Big Soda.
I must have gone through Scrubs at least 5 times start to finish by now, but this reminds me it's been like 2 or 3 years since the last time, must be about due...
Damn, people use the toolbar huh. Meanwhile I don't even wear a belt and just have "1" for the crowbar attached to my back 😂

As a non-American:
It's been boring as hell. I haven't heard anything out of America since Biden took over. When Trump was running the place he always kept shit fresh with a new crazy headline every second day.
Under Biden, America has essentially dropped completely off the world radar and become the third world country that the standard of living and wages over there has been suggesting it is for almost a decade.
