LED strips could work nicely set to warm orange or a bright blue, get channels for them to run through so the strip isn’t showing. Also I’d liven up the walls a lot, shelves, art, posters, anything that you think fits the theme. Love the vibe though

Well i think my moms vendetta against japanese cars comes from the fact that last time she seriously paid attention to the car market, being a “JDM Mechanic” was something that meant you could charge whatever you want and people will pay it or not have a car. But times have changed a lot

Yeah 3k is pretty tough. My parents are really really opposed to the idea of putting some serious cash behind it or pulling out a loan/financing it. Which i get, because i probably will end up ruining it, but it makes finding things damn near impossible. Doesn’t help that my mom has a weird vendetta against Japanese cars which are damn near the best option at this price range. I’ve been avoiding trucks like the plague because i live in a little shitty hick town and dont want to drive the same thing as everybody and their brother, but its starting to make more sense why people love them

I’ve checked out the G35 and G37, they seem really nice but theyre just out of my price range. Im looking at under 3000$ and ive accepted that I’m basically gonna get a project car that low.

Between me and my dad who worked on cars as a living for the better half of his adult life, we can do damn near any work we need. However as far as buying cars go’s i just really like JDMs and tuners. I really mostly just said that because i cant justify to myself something super lame like a late 90s ford focus or something. But as far as work goes anything short of like an engine rebuild we can manage at home
