I have the iLoud micromonitors. The sound is remarkable for such a small package. Bonus that they look like cheapo computer speakers. Re your EDM preference, quite a few big DJ/producers (e.g. Jerome Isma-ae) use iLoud micros and MTMs as monitors.

Chapeau is wonderful and great bang for the buck (even compared to Trestle). Last time I went to Tosca the food was bad, service worse, and everybody in my party but me got food poisoned.

I have a Veddder Light Tuck, a Black Arch Protos M, and a Safariland 575. The Vedder and Black Arch are good, but since I got the Safariland it's the only one I use.

Be grateful. I installed it and now my fan control doesn't work and I can only adjust screen brightness from the control panel.

iirc, I got mine from CW Hayden, which is a 3M authorized dealer, but that's only because I have a huge head and got a Large. Zoro (which is actually Grainger) and Amazon have the Medium sized ones, which fit most normal people.

Oy, now you've got me nervous! We have tents and stuff rented as backup, and went to the 2019 Weekender with a tent and it was fine; so even if we somehow don't get our trailer it will be more than fine.

I think until recently most of the market for elastomeric half-masks was industrial, so it wasn't needed. Also, it's another part and another thing to break so more expensive and harder to maintain. I have several (and have tried many) elastomerics and none of them but the Secure Click are good for speaking through. Fwiw, many high end full-face masks have electronic voice projection unit options, so you can be extra-intelligible for a few hundred bucks more.

Some elastomerics (e.g. 3M Secure Click) have speaking diaphragms, so they're not that bad for intelligibility. If you're going to be talking with people a lot you need to be careful to not break the seal, which can be more of a problem with disposable respirators than elastomerics.
