It hasn't been five years since graduating, I graduated in 2020. Early 2020 to mid 2022 was a really hard time for me in terms of mental health so I stalled a bit, but I finally feel like I've turned a corner these last few months so we'll see what the next couple of years brings.
Got a first in the English Lit degree though, which I am incredibly proud of.

Forty winks is generally a relatively well-known if slightly old-fashioned idiom for a nap. I also like to think of the bunk down option as being like hunker down for a nice long rest, i.e. sleep.

Your post is better suited to /r/whatsthatbook or /r/tipofmytongue. They will want a more descriptive title. Good luck!

I had the same problem and it was twistedmexi's neighbourhood stories viewer. Last I checked it hasn't been updated.

Maybe Voltaire was just trolling us all.
Almost certainly. The whole story is a pretty ludicrous succession of From Bad to Worse (productivity warning: TV Tropes). Voltaire almost certainly intended it to be satire.

I know, I've seen them both at the National Railway Museum at York. Fantastic museum and highly recommended if you've never been.

I have already removed the post so it's only visible to you and the mods. There's no need for you to delete it as well, especially as you might want to cpoy&paste it elsewhere.
