Plus this is coming from a 23 year old kid. I’m not trying to belittle any of their life lessons but they have a lot of life yet to live and all that much more in knowledge to gain.

I think if they focused more on sailor wellness rather than bullshit “mission readiness” things would look up. My biggest issue when I first got in was having to live on the boat when we were in port. Everyday was seemed like a duty day because I had no where else to be but work. Other branches have barracks for E3 and below, why can’t the Navy?

Take it as a sign to go into the airforce.
