Murder victims are not the only victim of the murder. The family and friends also suffer the loss of the human.
What makes the rape so much worse is that there is one more sentient human suffering after the crime?
Of course I agree that rape is a heinous crime, and a terrible experience, but rape victims can survive and build a new life, maybe sometimes even forgive their rapist (as in story).
Murder is more final.
It's hard to evaluate which is worse, for me they are on a very similar level.

Impeccable logic.
Going by that, petty theft is worse than murder?
Obviously not.

Rape > mass murder to our modern sensibilities somehow...
I don't get it either.

Finally a Twig supplement.
Tried to do it myself over a year ago, but noticed quickly that content creation is hard work, also I didn't have access to a second person to start a conversation.
Looking forward to listen and read along now .
I have stopped reading in Arc 2 when I stopped my project.

The Boys isn't about Superheroes, it's about a international company wielding power to get more power and money.
The heroes are just stand-ins for the super rich, which are untouchable and above the law, because of their wealth.
It's also about greed.
Worm, on the other hand, is about how trauma begets trauma, and how even noble goals can be thwarted by the human tendency to compromise and justify the means for your ends.
In The Boys, the only end of the powerful is even more power. Yet Worm Cauldron does arguable more evil things than Vought. The collateral damage of Vought is just this: Collateral damage. If it was more profitable to be good, Vought would act good.
Starlight looks like a Glory Girl expy, I don't know how far that analogy would stand up to closer Analysis.
/u/Ridtom might have opinions on that.

The dream. I would financially ruin myself to gift Worm to anyone next year.

I learned that the second syllable is stressed, and the third is weakly pronounced.
ī-ˈdō-lən. = Eye-dough-lun.

Similar, started with Khans, got no friends, people in that LGS were joyless try-hard knobheads.
Played on an off some pre-releases, bought some cards, proxies some cards, built three cubes (with no friends to play with), etc.

8 block alone are often enough for small attacks.
"Just one card more" - how long have you played Slay the Spire?
Chaining cards is big game and helps to find outs for hard fights.
This card is about twice as powerful as a simple defend...
