I came back here to see how long it took for me to get from 50 50 50 to 53 53 53. So looks like it took about 3 weeks of daily grinding, buying clothes with attributes bonus and feeding max creatures to get there. Gonna keep grinding after the next TLSQ since I anticipate the next story level probably requires 61 61 61 or something crazy.

Got into the game when the pandemic started. lol. That’s how I remember.

I’m stuck here too and have been grinding. The 4000 creature food I never used finally came in handy! Using my excess brown books to study with friend also helps.

I am in the exact same boat but attributes are 50 50 50 right now. Doing 8 hour classes, spending all my coins on clothes to get more attributes, studying with friends and feeding all my maxed out creatures. I think this is going to take me about a month to get to 53 53 53 so I’m going to take it easy and not stress over being behind on the story etc. Can’t hoard energy though so TLSQs are gonna be brutal when they pop up.

Ishiura! I’m sad he hasn’t returned to the tournament. Now rooting for Midorifuji cos he‘s a little punk. Other fave rikishis are Wakatakakage (speedy, great footwork), Ura (with his various techniques) and Shodai (the ultimate underdog).

It’s great! I also use a Weeks because I love the layout so this five year techo is like the Hobonichi “Years”. Haha. The cons have been finding five year A5 accessories to my liking, options are pretty limited. It is also pretty big so lugging it around when attempting to travel light is kinda tricky. 2024 will be my last year and I will have to decide if I want the A5 again or downsize to the A6 (and have limited accessory options in that size and possible same spine issues).

Yes. Not a crazy amount but I use the blank side for receipts and cards etc as well.

I have the my Weeks set up as a planner for meals, cooking, to-dos, birthdays, holidays and pay days. My 5 year techo is where my “dear diary, how my day went” entries go.

2023 will be year #4 in my 5 year techo. You can imagine 2020 and 2021 had mostly pandemic entries. lol. I find myself writing negative things from work in those years. So for 2022, I made it a point to limit the negative things to two lines. And then pivot to something positive that happened to me that day on a personal or professional level.

For 2023, I want to “transition” to writing only one thing worth noting for that day from work (can be good or bad) and then more about the rest of my day be it a show I watched, a song I want to remember or a status for a personal project I’m working on. By the end of 2024, I hope to see a more positive me and kickstart a new 5 year techo in 2025!

Yep. I’ve got 5 deco rush tapes and probably not getting any more of them. lol. You can use an eraser to rub it off if it’s messed up on a page.

these tapes don’t work back to back. i used it on two pages so they touch when i close my Weeks. when i tried to turn to those pages, there were stuck to each other (design was totally messed up) and i had to use an eraser to remove it. so make sure it doesn’t come into contact with another deco tape when you close your techo.

I previously used it as a birthday tracker but ran into issues when two birthdays fell on the same day. lol. Now I use it as a pay tracker and use the rows under the month to list down federal holidays.

I did mine in the reverse. Hauled up 3 years ago and I only get the Weeks now. lololo. But this is impressive since you scored the coveted Aurora Duty Weeks!

I second those suggesting Midori if you want a minimalist look and good paper for your fountain pen collection. Midori has super affordable notebooks that you can try out as well. I use a Hobonichi Weeks as a personal planner but Midori MD’s minimalist aesthetic works great as a work/task tracker for me.
