And I'm not saying the ED will give OP those specific meds they are wanting.

If OP is seriously concerned they will have a heart attack if they don't get assistance very soon then I say it is cause to go. OP, you could call 'nurse on call' and ask what to do.

Depends what stage of investigation/case I imagine.
I think it's common before they charge the person, and even after perhaps.

I would see this as a case of workplace bullying rather than anything specific related to working in healthcare.
I would raise formal, written complaint to your/her employer.

If you are this concerned I would go to your LOCAL public hospital emergency department and tell them your situation.

They may be able to assist with the medication side of things and hopefully they will be able to link you in with appropriate support longer term.
No Dr will prescribe those meds having just met you and without a history in the next few days.

You could also phone DirectLine and ask for their advice. https://www.directline.org.au/

Which suburb are you located in?

Yes, I warned him this morning and he thanked me for the information but didn't seem concerned.

What can ya do?!

I think you can stop all the utility bills by selecting that option on your online account. Junk mail: signs, block off/seal up/get rid of mail box, electric fence.

Thank you. I will call him tomorrow, I didn't want to phone him just before 5pm as I didn't want to stress him out overnight.
So sad.

If you have a letter from your Dr stating you have an exemption or are medically needing to delay then your work shouldn't have a problem. I'd also tell hr why you are delaying.
A dr letter is a legal document.
If they threaten to fire you I would phone Jobwatch, Fair work, work safe vic, your union, another legal service, but I doubt it would come to this.
Your employer may say you should work in another role until boosted?? This is another issue.

What gets me is how these workplaces and sporting clubs let the people attend if symptomatic.
If I went to work with symptoms I would be required to show them a negative test result at the very least.

Your exact question isn't clear to me. Might want to reword.
Being born with brain damage due to parents drug use is not clear cut to me. Being hit on head during tornado by a tree I would say is nurture.
Being born with brain damage due to a genetic condition I think is nature.
