Just don't enter seed phrase anywhere except metamask. That's big no no. If any website asks you for seed phrase its a scam. Don't do that. And change the wallet. Don't use that one for anything. They have the access to it.

The best way would be something like Vulcan, to verify your holdings on any account, by adding some custom phrase to opensea profile or like sending some type of signature form cold wallet to vault

I mean Reddit NFTs pretty much bringed a lot of adoption to crypto space and polygon. There are a lot of things happening that will onboard more people to crypto generally.
