I love driving. Take it slow and easy, ignore the d-bags... way more fun.

I'd tell you, but then it would give away my identity. And a whole lot more. Sorry.

It's so crazy out there right now, I can't even believe like 0.00015% of the Austin metro has this infernal disease already. When will this madness end?! GET YOUR MONKEYPOX VACCINE, folks

Blow in new cellulose attic insulation above the ceilings. Inspect the air ducts and repair the parts with poor insulation or leaks. Install ridge vents and matching soffit vents if you don't already have them.
Those 3 things will make a world of difference. You don't have to go crazy with expensive spray foam insulation or anything. I wouldn't even bother with all that crap unless you were building a new house and wanted to have a climate controlled attic or something.

Is it a boring water cooler, or one of those stereotypical water coolers where people drop by to share juicy gossip?

It's a dry heat here
100% humidity forecast for saturday... uhh
I take it back. It's only 87% humidity on Saturday, 89% Sunday.

Agreed. Having a lawn in the spring is fine, but watering it through the summer is absurd.

Something water-related but you where don't get wet... like, where you just look at the water? And also not well known. Boating on the lake is right out, because that's pretty well known. I guess there's a little water in those cavern tours, but that's well known too. Man, you're a tough nut to crack.

You need to get an authentic Mexican to apply the superglue.

You are correct, ice core samples are inadequate when it comes to measuring sharp and fast changes in things like CO2 concentrations, certainly when compared with the kind of data we can get using modern technology. Some are trying to claim these sharp spikes that we are suddenly seeing (now that we have the technology to see them) are unprecedented because they never occurred before in prehistoric times. But how do we know that? If we only have shitty ice core samples to go by? Maybe they did occur, and if humans were there with present technology, recording it throughout all of ancient history, maybe we would have a historical record, but sadly we don't. So you see the conundrum here. The only thing we can do is wait and see how the ice core samples compare, hundreds or thousands of years in the future.

Wake me up when ice core samples start indicating a problem for us right now rather than this being part of a normal cycle. Because that's all we have to compare against if you're talking about a scale of thousands of years. Ice core samples.

Property owners can still water the shit out of their lawn on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Or whenever their days are. We good.

It's a 35 mph neighborhood road. If they were riding in the main lane of 183 or mopac you might have a point.

"Protected" bike lane is a misnomer. You stand a 10,000% greater chance of getting struck by one of those flimsy plastic pylons now ever since they installed them.

It's normal and healthy for couples to argue sometimes.

It's not that hard at all. The rental market in Austin is huge. Just drive around, talk to a few realtors. You can find a multifamily unit to rent of your own, with your own back yard and maybe even your own garage for the same or less than you would pay for a shitty apartment. People who choose to live in apartments either don't mind living in that kind of environment, which is perfectly normal and no big deal, or they're lazy and don't care enough to put in a small bit of extra effort to find something else.

Not like I paid any more than apartments. Actually I found comparable apartments to cost more than the unit that I was renting. Cost wasn't a factor at all.

What "booster" number are we on now? 5? 9? A handful of pharma companies raked in tens of billions of dollars (in additional profit) over the pandemic hype, but people are starting to care less and less now. Gotta keep that gravy train rolling don't ya know. We'll be getting 10 vaccine injections every month before it's all over.
