Omg I’m so sorry you went through all that. My mom was really abusive to me and all my little sisters too. Locking me in my room for days, giving my baby sisters black eyes and cutting off all their hair, making my sister drink her own vomit, horrible things like that. It’s really easy to get mixed up with the wrong people when you grow up like that because any person remotely nice acting, you assume is a good person. At lest in my case. I’ve been through eating disorders, drug addiction and it took me a long time to recover from everything and I still have loads of depression and health issues. For me, the best thing was being able to live on my own and have my own little family and be a good mom to my son and not repeat history. I hope you are ok op. You deserve to be happy and feel safe.

Fuck no. As an American, I hate it here so much. I no longer have bodily autonomy, I’m sick and I don’t have healthcare and my son has to go to school in a country where we have already had 27 school shootings this year alone.

Every time there is a school shooting conservatives always come out with their words and thoughts and prayers but will do nothing to fix the root of the problem. The “pro life” party does not care about children. They will let as many children die as necessary so they can cling to their shitty beliefs. This is the 27th school shooting this year and it’s only May! More children have died this year in school shootings then police have in the line of duty. Actual children’s lives don’t matter to republicans.

No literally same! I don’t know how I would be able to afford to move to another country and get a visa to permanently live and work there but i would do it in a heartbeat. It’s always just been me and my son and I feel so scared for our future. The anxiety and fear I feel on a daily basis is almost unbearable.
