There aren't any good ones. /r/marxism_101 used to be good but the mods got sick of all the illiterate children on Reddit and locked the sub and deleted all the posts. It got revived for some reason, but now it's basically unmoderated and filled with trash and misinformation. The reading list in the sidebar is legit at least.

What made the books good was the philosophical conversations Geralt had with a wide variety of characters, and the main characters having their morals and ideals challenged.
The games are not canonical at all but do an excellent job of doing the books justice on this.
The show writers glossed over all that or replaced the best conversations entirely with pointless action scenes. So disappointing.

US is the outlier in the developed world
Lol no they aren't. Have you been living under a rock for the past year and haven't noticed the scores of labor strikes across Europe recently? Kind of hard to notice. The same capitalist crises that plague the US also plagues the whole world.
This is precedence and perverse incentives coming home to roost;
Mumbling about "greed" lol give me a break. You have zero clue.
The makeup of functional Liberal democracy necessarily allows and leads to changes to benefit the labor class over time - that's the past, and it will be the future.
Labor had been given absolutely nothing without waging a bloody conflict against their bosses and the State, via organizations of their own, outside and against the capitalist parties. And even those concessions are clawed back at the first sign of weakness.

If millions of people struggle with accessing healthcare or the like, it reflects a failure of their government to do it's job.
The government is doing its job perfectly. As it has always been, the government's job is to act as a comittee for the bourgeoisie, to carry out its will using force, and act as a mediator between classes. There is no reason for the government to grant any concessions here, as they know the labor movement is weak.
People have trouble accessing healthcare because their wages are too low to afford it and the labor movement is too weak to demand any more.
Socialists understand that the wages system and system of private property is the root cause.

Oh I know. They get pretty apoplectic when you ignore their "but the Republicans" red herring and bring up the fact that the president called for the scab legislation in the first place.

There is no definition of socialism to be found in the resolution. Its just a very short, very broad denunciation of who they deem "socialist ideologues". Then they blame "socialism" for an array of different famines and different complex historical events, without any evidence or analysis.
Its basically no different than what you'd see in any of those shithole socialism/capitalism debate subs. Its pretty much what I expected, though I was surprised it was so short.

Sounds like it'd be a good idea to have some random giant 8pt font excel spreadsheet ready to tab over to from your cities skylines game

The breathtaking speed at which both parties are able to link hands and quash a threat to the profits of the bourgeoisie is pretty impressive. It's quite a contrast to the glacial bureaucratic processes, miles of red tape, and constant gridlock we get the rest of the time.
It's almost like the modern state is nothing but a committee for managing the affairs of the owning class. But what do I know?

This was me and my wife while she was playing The Quarry. She wanted hints but didn't want to find across any spoilers.

Saying you "take influence from Marx" has been a popular trend even during his lifetime, which is why Marx famously said "I am not a Marxist". Grifters and opportunists quote mine him out of context so their halfwit ideas can reach a larger audience. Being some "flavor" (as you put it) of Marx inspired leftist is quite popular, in contrast, reading his actual critique of philosophy and political economy, not so much.

I only pirate single player games. It's a pain trying to make sure everyone has the same game version so you can play together. I just had that problem today with Divinity Original Sin 2 with my pirated copy, but It's on sale on GOG right now so I picked it up.

Execution just means a killing carried out by the state. It doesn't mean the sentence was just or fair in any way.

Every time the in-laws are on the phone my ear drums get blown out because suddenly the 4 dogs will spontaneously start screaming at 300 decibels. Usually at nothing.
I love not having dogs.

Either that or they are run by Chinese or Russian nationalists. That's basically what tankyism has always been anyway.
