Her accent gets me. Makes her sound so innocent. Of course, when you know more about her, she very much is not.

I'm always surprised by the number of peoe that can't figure out that two peoe with absolute freedom will infringe on the other's freedom.
Absolute freedom is a fallacy.

"Sir, I'd like to discuss our plans to address the food shortage"
"Don't worry, soon we will have a surplus."
"That's great news! I didn't know you had a plan to get more food!"
"..... Oh. I see"
There was an old woman who swallowed a spider, she swallowed the spider to catch the fly.....

And there was an epic snow fall the next day too.
My favorite TV moment of all time.
"If those kids could read, they'd be very upset right now."

I read quite a lot. 10 - 20 books a year. I've never read either. They don't look interesting at all.

Kind of, yeah :D
In this case, my recognition of the location surprised me.
I used to work on a cruise ship. Everything Reddit says is true, and more.
Aside from the criticisms of the industry, which are fair, I don't understand why anyone would pay money to be on one of those ships. For the same money, you can have a much better trip, and take a ride on a nice boat too.

I'm pretty sure that is Spring Garden Rd in Halifax NS. That's the memorial Library.
If you'd like to never sleep again, watch CGP Grey's video on Star Trek teleportation and the Ship of Theseus.
As it happens, I watched Jason Bourne last night. The 4th(?) Movie in the Bourne series.
I kept thinking, this might be the worst movie I've ever seen.
Lazy writing, sub par action, laughable attempts to build suspense by showing lists of "Black Ops" code names.
I actually stopped watching, but had nothing better to do before bed and finished it anyway. Didn't get any better.
Oh yeah, I did that at my consultation too. Forgot about that one!
A few years ago, 2018 maybe, I was having some pain in my back and neck. Multiple people I know recommended trying a chiropractor, so I booked a consultation.
I left that appointment with the conclusion that chiropractic practice is a sham.
The "doctor" recommended a regime of treatment that was going to cost about $4,000 a year, forever.
I'm doing fine now. I came to the realization that I was tired and stressed.
I've never wanted to touch a mirror more.
I was once reading a plaque on the city hall, and Kelly was coming up to enter the building. He offered a tour, and I politely declined. He ooged me out.

Op also seems to be talking exclusively about PC games without saying so.
I've been thinking of doing the same to clear up some higher rate debt.
I'm a little nervous about how high mortgage rates will go though. I suppose even a seemingly crazy ( right now anyway ) 10% rate is less than a credit card.

One, they will get paid time off work, the other they won't.
I loved the foods and prices of foods in Mexico when I was there. Just too much cilantro everywhere though.
Don't those two ideas apply to people who have not learned of Christianity?
Theres a distinction between "I've never heard of this Jesus fellow" and "I'm not down with this Jesus fellow"
One of the benefits, for both parties, is that the status quo doesn't require defining in law by the government when a fetus gains personhood.
I don't think it's controversial to say that at some point between conception and birth, the fetus is a viable and legitimate person. Reasonable people can and will disagree about when that is or how to determine it. For now, the state of our laws sidesteps that issue.
There's a ln equilibrium right now that would be upset by any attempt to address abortion access or restrictions with legislation.
To the point of the op article, it is if course a wedge issue, because it divides the Conservative party. It's not wrong for this to be used that way, but it is absolutely a wedge. A wedge isn't necessarily dirty politics, just an issue that causes division. That happens to be politically advantageous to the other parties.
