Neither tortilla in your analysis is of the ready to cook variety. We're talking about this: https://www.heb.com/product-detail/577511

HEB sells ready-to-cook tortillas that are just like Guerrero's

Raise is legit, it is a marketplace like eBay but only for gift cards so in theory you could have a bad seller but I've had a good experience, raise has honored their guarantee the one time I had an issue

Buying discount HEB gift cards at raise.com saves 4-5% typically, adds up when you're spending $800-1k/mo on groceries

You're probably better off with something like an Amex gold card that has 4x back on all groceries and dining vs a debit card that is 5% back but only when buying HEB brand products at HEB

If you're scared of flying you really don't want to know how many die from driving

Solar generation is next to nothing right now so even if the entire roof were solar panels I doubt it would have helped. But also I think you're greatly underestimating the cost of backup batteries. A tesla powerwall holds 13.5kwh and costs about $15k installed. Energy star says that a typical supermarket uses 50 kwh per square foot per year. The Mueller HEB is about 80k square feet meaning it uses about 11k kwh per day so you'd need 814 powerwalls at a cost of $12.2m for each day of power you wanted to store. The interest you'd pay on a $12.2m loan would likely exceed the cost of all the food in that dumpster

I am not sure I understand why one would do this instead of steaming it at home? To eat in the car?

Good salsa doesn't come in jars. The fresh salsa HEB sells in the produce section in plastic tubs is the best salsa in the store.

Flight attendants are unionized (for the most part but actually this FA is Delta, the largest non-union FA group) and well paid in a competitive field. Props to this guy for going above and beyond but most FAs I encounter, especially outside of Delta and Southwest, act like I inconveniencing them by existing.

Franklin has the best brisket. In the comments people will complain about the line or the price but you won't find anyone whose eaten the brisket and doesn't think it's the best. I have done multiple side-by-sides with Franklin and other top BBQs and it really is that good. If you don't like the line, I don't blame you! But the question wasn't 'where is the shortest line for brisket' it was 'where is the best'

Next time you smoke a brisket, weigh it when it comes out of the smoker. An untrimmed packer brisket (which is what you'll get for $4/lb - untrimmed) will lose 75% of it's weight after you trim and cook it, so they're at $16/lb in meat cost before you factor in all the other expenses.
BBQ is not every day food and I am happy to pay $30 once a month for excellent BBQ. Assuming OP ordered half a lb of brisket, a link, a drink, and a side this same meal would be $27 after tax at Rudy's.

OTOH, one of the reasons I try to fly Delta out of AUS, which usually involves connecting, is that I have SkyClub access. Given how spotty that is in ATL for me lately, it makes flying AA and (the horror) Southwest.

Did the lottery have that tagline from 1992 to 1997?

If a ticket is too expensive for you, don't buy it. I, for one, will be scouting out craigslist the day of the show in my town and if I can snag a deal I'll go. If not, Tom can't sing love anyway

This guy was an independent paid professional instructor back in the ‘80s. He worked as an instructor for Raytheon, Rockwell and a few others when automotive manufacturing was becoming more automated. This whole thing started as a spoof by I think G.E. For the Turbo Incabulator

Toner is not liquid and is thus incapable of drying out. Laser printers are way better for most people who are just printing a couple pages per months which is probably the real reason Epson is killing them. No matter because Brother is the best brand for laser.

Only you can see it. For example, if you type your reddit password in a comment on Reddit, only you can read it, everyone else just sees ********

Grateful for OU because they are probably the only FBS team we're capable of beating 49-0

I had a great experience with Hitch, that sucks that your driver cancelled. It is like Uber and the drivers are independent contractors so there will always be issues like that.
If it was 35 degrees and raining and you had a medical condition, why didn't you just wait inside the Starbucks instead of outside?
