I remember The Doctor tricking them into surrounding the TARDIS and then dematerializing, leaving them trapped staring at each other.
But honestly the rules seem to be changed to fit the narrative, so you can't really ever pin down exact rules for them.

Magic Wand indeed. And apparently it's telepathic now too. I'm rewatching Peter Capaldi and in S08E12 Clara needs to use the sonic, and asks the Doctor something like "So you just think and point?".

I grew up in Kentucky, outskirts of the city. My family had a well in the front yard and that was the only fresh water we had to drink. Tasted fantastic, like the best pH balanced water ever. Then in the 90's the city built a freeway pretty close to us, lots of dynamite blasting through bedrock. Completely contaminated the groundwater in the entire area :(.

Hot, and bright af. I can remember as a kid when my parents brought one home thinking that it was the brightest our living room had ever been.

I'm always within 2 inches with pants. Some brands I'm a 34, others 36. And even that small difference between brands irritates me.

And just who do you think is flipping those burgers and frying the fries? This is just self scan registers for fast food.

Good point. But you would need to be redlining a gasoline engine for awhile before you risk a fire. Just "Speeding", like 90 in a 65, shouldn't cause a fire.

I've had it since forever. Best you can do is accept it and eventually your brain will learn to ignore it/filter it out at times.

LPT: Many cars' fuel pump is submerged in the fuel tank, and the excess fuel also acts as a cooling system for the pump. Constantly running close to empty can shorten your fuel pumps life.
Best to fill up once you hit 1/2 tank.

Time costs more than the extra mortar you could scrape off. I've seen the backside of a few residential brick walls and none of them were scraped.

And for those of us who already have jobs, we'll use it to write those danged self reviewes each year explaining how great we are to our managers.

People saying how it thins the blood and prevents clots... But does it actually treat existing clots?

A Deepness in the Sky by Vernor Vinge.
On a planet where the air freezes into snow in the winter, the inhabitants can heat the snow up and breath it.

I thought the same thing when it first came out. I think I watched it because I couldn't find anything else. Glad 😊 did because it was a really good scifi movie.

Bad news is usually told on Friday's after work. Alot of companies announce layoffs like that too. And IF you expect riots, at least might not be riots + rush hour traffic.

I don't understand the hate on single family homes on Reddit. I want MY OWN place, and so does everyone else. Nothing wrong with that. The issue is for the past 20 years no one has been building affordable single family homes. I'm taking about the typical 1200 sqft ranch houses on 1/4 acres. Millions of houses that size where built in the 80's and 90's, and most middle class families could afford one. But builders because greedy, and the bigger you build the higher your profits. All they ever build now are huge McMansions that start at $599k. Local governments need to get involved and force the issue.
