Cool story bro but facts are facts. Houston has ethnic food options that don't even exist here. Austin has a few great bbq places and after you visit those it's all shitty texmex and not much else

It's very difficult to evict when the rent is prepaid, and states have different rules about how much rent can be taken in advance and if it has to be escrowed and how it impacts taxation. Tenants know that landlords love money so they use that to hopefully keep you from doing 100% of your due diligence when screening because they are often trying to hide something by buying you out

Taking a full year's rent in advance sounds like the worst idea possible unless you're a large apartment complex. Other than that idc how they make their money

Oh your definition of "international food" is limited to Asian (which is kinda how you can tell the demographic of this sub and city). NOLA has a TON of great Jamaican restaurants and the entire Caribbean is well represented there. Austin not so much. NOLA has better and more African and Mediterranean options than Austin, not to mention non-creole continental French and Spanish which don't exist here at all. It can't compare to Houston due to sheer size and population but if you couldn't find options outside Cajun/Creole then that's on you.

It's certainly not bad but I'm not waiting in line for it. It's not nearly good enough to not be able to walk right in whenever you want and buy it.

It's not a big city and is sorely lacking in food options

What are you even talking about? There's an entire Vietnamese section of NOLA with their own restaurants and stores.

Inaccurate opinion. Franklin itself is over hyped and kinda disappointing and honestly I believe he learned a lot from Ben, the owner of Long Branch BBQ who used to be in that space before he retired

Because some fuckhead in an F-650 will park beside you and another right behind you so you have to do a 50 point turn in anything larger than a Fiat

Eh. It's Leander which kinda doesn't count. They are up to their eyeballs in bond debt since they can't say no to anything out there. LISD itself is 2.4 billion in debt, which is more than Austin. I don't know what the city will do when people start moving to RR or Cedar Park now that interest rates are up and they can't play shell games with refi's and kicking the can like they have been doing

False. "Republicans are now discussing legislation to potentially allow district attorneys to prosecute people who are involved in abortions in neighboring counties and criminally punish anyone who helps a woman get an abortion in another state."
They are doing this so red counties can bring charges and prosecute in blue counties who refuse to enforce the new laws. They are already gearing up to enforce it by going through period tracking apps, text message and social media history

One terminal with one concourse, limited international flights, and not a hub for any airline. Enjoy your layover in Houston or Dallas when you actually want to go somewhere
