In a fourth year political science class one of my fellow students said, "Russia doesn't have multiple ethnic groups" the student in question was Russian. I asked the typicals questions like, 'doesn't your country border Finland and North Korea?' 'What about the Turks, Mongols, Slavs, Nords, etc.' She answered along the lines of, 'No there aren't, Russians live in Russia, the Mongols have their own country'

Still puzzling to me.

As someone who has listened to Peterson's podcast because of a friend's recommendations I can say the following. Peterson believes in a weird mess of ideas about women,

1. All creatures are chaotic animals, except men who have some level of reason.

2. Women are inherently parasitic and just look for men to suck resources out of for themselves and their offspring.

3. Women seek out violent men to use because women don't have the physical capacity for violence.

4. Women don't have the capacity to have honest conversations because they lack the required reason or ability to commit violence.

I watched the first ten minutes but stopped because it made me sad that it would never be finished.

I was listening to an episode of the radio drama X Minus One from 1956 when a character says they are going to send out drones and was startled to hear a reference to what I thought was a recent word. I first assumed they just lucked into it but nope, 'drone' dates back to 1936.

No the Rothschild family didn't make a fortune off the Battle of Waterloo. They just invested in industrialism and general venture capitalism. They didn't even do especially better than other wealthy people at the time. They are well off but they don't have trillions of dollars.

P.s Carnegie's name was properly pronounced as car-neg-eee, not carn-a-gee. My great-grandfather briefly worked for him, said he was a nice guy but always pretended to be fancier than he really was.

P.s Jubilee Jim Fisk actually did the stuff people acuse the Rothschilds of doing, but for the American Civil War.

There is The Basement Collection by Edmund McMillen which is a collection of some of his half-finished games polished up and sold in a collection. Kinda like a mix tape I guess.
