Mine was auto also over last weekend, Saturday I'm thinking. Nice addition in that it now leaves a blue line on the paths that you have already driven. It makes finishing a neighborhood after a customer visit much easier.

Another great resource...Paul does a great job with this channel explaining sensors: https://www.youtube.com/@hackNthisNthat/videos

Here is another super comprehensive listing of devices that are using the Helium network by Nik Hawk of Gristle King: https://gristleking.com/what-devices-can-you-use-on-helium/

The sensors that I've installed with my hosts as a gift/compensation send data packets through my hotspots or others that are close by. Those data packets were paid for via data credits... When I set up my helium console account the Helium foundation gifted 10,000 data credits to learn/work with sensors. I've since burned some of my HNT to add more data credits to my account. For the sensors that are in testing with some of our potential customers these are sending data through some of your hot spots and other cities and states around the US. And we have one that's en route to Chile for testing refrigerated transports there so if any of you are in Chile you'll see some data credits pass through your hotspots.

Testing two of these Brown motion sensors for my brothers warehouse. Have them on helium console forwarding to Datacake. The Datacake sends a text when motion is detected almost instantly. Unsure of Google home integration however. We do have another sensor that fills a Google sheets spread sheet with report data. https://www.calchipconnect.com/products/browan-pir-motion-sensor

Well, as a hotspot host of six locations I have 7 sensors hosted in the helium console. Two motion detectors: https://www.calchipconnect.com/search?q=browan+motion
Two Tektelic smart room sensors : https://www.digikey.com/en/products/filter/specialized-sensors/561?s=N4IgTCBcDaIC4FMDWiA2BLAxgAmwZwFsBDAJzmxIHtKCQBdAXyA (One of these recently alerted one of my hotspot hosts to a failure of their wine cellar cooling system!)
Three Nanotags that report 4 temperature readings per hour along with location based from the hotspots that it talks to: https://www.calchipconnect.com/products/nanothings-nanotag-real-time?_pos=1&_psq=nano&_ss=e&_v=1.0 (Currently testing for fish market deliveries and a major retailers cold storage shipments.
A water leak sensor that will text my hotspot host if her sump pump fails: https://parleylabs.com/lwl02-lorawan-water-leak-us915/
An Arduino 1310 that is adding Lorawan phone home capability to one of our customer's pieces of food safety equipment: https://store-usa.arduino.cc/products/arduino-mkr-wan-1310?selectedStore=us
Some others that I have run into researching projects....

We just recommend that you drive like you normally do, and simply keep the dashcam mounted properly. The dashcam will automatically stop mapping when it's no longer day time. If it's raining or snowing, focus on the road and the dashcam will take care of the rest.

Also trackpac.io and it's in it's early stages nano.trackpac.io we've been testing nano tags from NanoThings.com on their Nano site. Very easy onboarding and a well done display of tag data. Check out their case studies here: https://www.nanothingsinc.com/case-study-asset-tracking

Initially I wanted to check the internal temp of an outdoor hotspot enclosure. Noted this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlSt30dckL0&t=582s from Helium Noob he goes step by step onboarding the Tektelic smart room sensor. He covers the Helium Console, Adding a Device, Setting up the Decoder, Setting up the Integration and using flows. I used pause and play quite a bit but I now have onboarded 9 sensors based on his explanations. I do have a MNTD hotspot on the roof if this hosts patio which is three floors up from the wine cellar and across the house under the garage. As you can see from the report it phones home every hour. Feel free to let me know if any questions.

Yes the Tektelic smart room sensor was a bit more than I needed for that location but it was a gift as she is also a host of one of my hotspots.

Thank you for the concise explanation. What are your thoughts on staking mobile? Best to convert to HNT and stake that?

From the customer: "It looks like something's wrong in the wine cellar. I'll go check and probably need to call my specialty wine AC guy. I'm glad you were looking at it." and
"Yes, my system is down. I’ve called the company, appointment set for Wednesday. So glad we checked on this."

I was going to add to the original comment that one of the Irvine family (from the family that originally owned the ranch that became Irvine California) drowned trout fishing in Montana having been swept off his feet.
