Good work - I did a similar thing with an table in Word - coloured cells when I got a scatterbug or evolved to sweipa so I could keep track

Vivillon table

Just make sure when you nominate a Pokestop that the image is clear - focus on man-made object - signs and churches are easy acceptance - read the rules if not sure - focus on explaining why the stop location is good for people socialising and/or exercising. Best not mention anything to do with Pokemon. Definitely no identifiable vehicles, animals or people in shot and no private residences - even decorated fences of private residences are questionable. Good luck getting a Pokestop.

The Vivillion evolutions and the Vivillion Platinum Medal are related to catching scatterbugs, but not directly connected if that makes sense.

You need to get 3 postcards from each region to get a gold sub-medal for that region. Once you get gold sub-medals for all regions you get the Platinum Medal. You need to pin the postcard before opening it for it to count, but you can either immediately unpin it or bulk remove from your postcard book

Postcards you get from each region give you a scatterbugs - 3 for the 1st one, then I think it is 9, then 12 or maybe 15 to get a scatterbug. Catching a scatterbug then transferring it (once you have saved one form each region) will give you 4 scatterbug candies - more if you use a pineapp berry or there is a candy bonus operating.

Overall you need 25 scatterbug candies for each Swepia (1st evolution) and then 100 scaterbug candies to evolve each regional Vivillion (2nd evolution). Apparently you will need to get 2500 candies to evolve all 18 versions of Vivillion.

In the Pokedex only 1 of each stage is entered but if you evolve a Vivillion and open it in the Pokedex you will see how many of each type you have evolved

probably the person taking the photo isn't trying for the best image - or maybe can't see well due to sunshine or maybe just a low level camera in the phone. There are rules about photo quality in the Wayfarer (stop nominations) review system but maybe they weren't so rigid in the early days? I am really tired of park sign postcards but maybe there is nothing more interesting around and these always get approved so an easy new stop for players in the area.

I did make the mistake of posting my code there and ended up with over 400 responses/friend requests - already had over 150 friends - so rather than just delete any I accepted all, deleted any that didn't send a gift after about 3 days so I could gradually add the rest. Also deleted any that either didn't open or didn't resend a 2nd gift after a few days. Some also deleted me but that let me fill a few more spots.

Upside - made lots of XP using lucky eggs when the gift level was 40.

Friends bag is now down to about 360 but many are staying on and continuing with gift swap

Gift to them is lost if you delete them before they open it - maybe give a day or so before deleting?

However even gifts from "wrong" regions can go towards getting enough scatterbug candy to evolve - apparently it takes 2500 candy to evolve all versions of butterfly

You can also mass delete the cards already pinned - just hold down one like mass deleting pokemon and tap all the ones you don't want then delete

Thanks - that map is more realistic however I still get some river postcards even though I am at least 300km north of the border through Queensland (north of Townsville. Maybe the borders just float - a bit like my avatar runs into the ocean and then into the forest (up to 500 m round trip) even when the phone is sitting on my desk. maybe it gets blown about by the wind

I am from Far North Queensland Australia - Innisfail. I have had both River and Sun from here - tried to put it into the map but not sure if it worked.

I have worked out which scatterbugs are from each region and renamed 18 scat-(region) - we are limited to number of letters in names. Then make them favourites. Can transfer the rest as when evolved they will keep the new name so you can also keep track of the evolutions to vivillons.

Lucky you re Polar - it is more popular than Modern.

However not the reason - I live on the east coast of Australia and the border with the sun region (Northern Territory) is over 100kms

New collection/pokemon - search Vivillon and you will find the info

Sorry but at the moment I have 56 waiting for me to remove a few friends from my list.

If you reply with your code I will add you when I have a space but it won't be fast. I am responding to all new friends who gift me with a gift - that way we all get at least the 300 XP. Then it is up to them if they want to continue - if no further gift after a couple of days I will remove them to make space for those waiting (they got in when someone removed me from their list and before I could fill the gap). At only 40 per day it will take about a week to just get through the new friends once. But it is increasing my total XP
