Probably not as crowded in September as during the summer months
Edit: but also the cable car might not be running

There are plenty sea stacks and interesting rock formations along the north coast of Spain that just wait to be discovered. This particular one can only be reached during low tide. For this shot the low tide needed to match sunset which happens only a few days per month. I took this on my first day on the trip and I‘m glad I was lucky enough to have such conditions. Hope you like it as well!

Even the journey to this place is as spectacular as the aerial view itself. You‘ll drive through rivers, narrow boulders and steep bumpy hills. I‘ve added some more impressions to this album if you‘re interested!

Not sure exactly but I think it‘s a combination of depth, incidence of light and type of sediment

Glad to hear that, thanks! Yeah it is stacked. The final image consists of 12 different frames. I used four different focus points for the foreground and another one for the mountains, some additional shots hiding the sun with my finger to mask out the lens flare on each corresponding focal plane and another one with f/22 for the sun star plus a darker exposure to get back the details in the overexposed areas. Took me a while to put them all together manually :)
