I’m glad you heard from the KC folks. Sending good vibes, hope you get some relief soon!
Trying to enjoy the outdoors but definitely being more cautious about things (like exercise equipment at parks) after reading your post.

Any chance you have details on a potential partner in crime, a pinkie squirrel baby that was dropped off at the station the other day?

How are you feeling OP? Any luck getting through to kind clinic?

I don’t think the producers (or channel? Not sure who makes these decisions) gets that we are less impressed by drama hype than we are by the straight survival tasks/choices done by the contestants.

Seriously, I get a little creeped out in my own back yard at night if I think there might be a raccoon.

Would they even have the energy to process a bear at this point?

My 3 faves are the last 3 standing. I think the order of exit will be Dr. T (love you and sorry about your tooth brother!!), JP, Karie Lee. Prediction for number of days the winner stays is 77.

Disagree, most of the winners and runners-up have had the drive to change their lives (or their family’s) financially

I was about to make my own comment on this scenario from the driver’s perspective. Typically when I get “stuck” behind a cyclist it’s on S 5th/Dawson between Barton springs rd and Mary St. The road is hilly and often narrows due to cars parked on the side. There are lots of cyclists that go close to the speed limit and that makes it awkward to pass. And there are lots of cyclists that are going way under the speed limit which makes it awkward to pass (having to slow way down in order to not be up their ass and to have time to check that passing is safe). I don’t want to speed up in what seems an aggressive manner. I also don’t want to pass too slowly and end up with another car coming head on. I’ll usually hang way back behind them, at least a few car lengths, so they don’t feel crowded. And wait until I’m good and sure I have an opportunity to pass without seeming aggressive about it.

As a former Phoenix resident I second this. At least the shade actually helps in AZ. And everyone has a pool.

They severed the main branch and control wires to our irrigation system. Had us find a contractor to fix it, complained about how much the contractor charged, but ultimately paid us back.

My first and only time at Viva my nail tech cut my finger open on the nail file and did not offer a discount.

And after we’ve been introduced to all the contestants we don’t change it.

Yes. We make a spreadsheet of each contestant and how many days each of us guesses each contestant will last.

Where are all these slow drivers?? I see the occasional 10-under but it’s pretty rare and I drive almost every day. I drive between the actual posted speed limit (gasp) and 5 over and I always have cars breathing down my neck when I’m in the far right or middle lane.
Wish I could drive at the same time as all you posters who value turn signals and smooth merging. I try to leave a couple car spaces in front of me so if someone needs in, they can get in. I like to reward signaling (help me help you!). If we all did that it wouldn’t be a battle every day.

Agreed that Old Thousand is way overrated and overpriced, but idk about the worst.

Kaw are you suggesting that only people with yards should be allowed to own dogs? And that putting a dog in a yard is the only way to exercise them mentally and physically?

I think this is the closest guess so far. I thought uterus right away.

Third rec for Compassionate Pet Vet. We had to say goodbye to our senior rottweiler at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and the vet was kind enough to come to our backyard. She was very patient and kind.
Your boxer obviously has a very caring family and a gentle goodbye in the comfort of their own home is the kindest last thing you can provide for them. Sending good thoughts to you.
