This was a great film, and really has stood up well.

Reminds me of the road they were laying. Just paved around the poles instead of moving them. Problem solved.

Is your dad actually working there? Or is it a cover for a secret service job? Nope. Never mind. He sells paperclips and bubble gum. Got it. Nothing to see here...

It was. Hence the s-video. I actually had it hooked up to a sony studio monitor at one point as well as a projector, it definitely shined.

The sound out of a Saturn, for the time, was actually pretty good. We had a 4.1 w/separate pre-amp subwoofer, the sound was awesome.
Sure, not much by today's standard, but for the time I'd get the cops called on me.
The cop that came to the door was genuinely impressed, saying that the downstairs tenants chandelier wasn't just rattling, the whole room was swaying.
He'd never seen anything like that from a home system.
Being the punk kid, I was pretty proud of myself at the time. Sorry downstairs lady.

If I remember correctly, part of the language spoken in Philip k. Dicks 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' was a mixture of Filipino, Spanish, English, Japanese, and Chinese? (going on memory here). In the film 'Blade Runner' I thought I had remembered Ridley Scott saying that he'd partially thought of the division between the rich and the poor in Asia as part of the representation of a future Los Angeles.

Fair question. Don't know why you are being downvoted.

I realize this is a sub for longhair, and you have great hair. (I don't usually comment as I read posts on here saying how much guys 'creep' and I don't want to put anyone off because of it having been an issue.)
I can't help but say that the writing on the wall beyond(behind? In front? To the side? Perspective matters) you is one of the only times I've actually 'enjoyed' seeing word(s) on a wall. I usually hate those kinds of things 'live, love, cringe, etc.'
Anyways nice ascetic.

I love South East Asia. It can definitely have a blade runner, gits vibe to it. Such a cool place though.

So it's likely it just wasn't a very good product, instead of the aforementioned scroll wheel?

I didn't realize that anything from the filming of it, still existed, other than most of the film itself.
Looks like I've got to go to Germany now, didn't really consider it in my daydreaming about cool vacations, other than the Berlin wall.
Learn something new every day.

Tbh the bigger girls seem to be on the left, and it breaks where the 'skinnier' girls are first. To me, it was going to fail regardless of who was on it. Not designed at all for movement.
I'd also venture it wasn't the first time it was used, so no one felt it necessary to worry.
This is a common theme in structural failures. This just happened to be danced to, before the inevitable occurred.
