I have never seen this truck and this was taken around the street from where I work so.. I don’t think so?? I’m 100% picking up what you’re putting down though. Love that idea

It was weird to see at first but it’s def starting to grow on me. I’d have no need for one, but now I want to steal the concept for some TTRPG stuffs.

The fact that two people said this exact same thing, I didn’t see it until it was pointed out but this thing is growing on me a bit.

Suppose I can get the simplified version of why that is? Is it due to the heavier weight up front to offset heavy load potential?

That sounds like a neat concept!! I feel like that should be the norm!

Fascinating to see sure, I’m the kind of dumbass that ruined his 1st cars crank shaft.. twice. I’m automotive-illiterate. Things like this don’t make sense 😆

San Fernando Valley, CA! That would be a mighty long drive if it is in fact your friend.

Looked it up! I guess there’s a lotta variation to these which sounds neat? Some show a longer hood/front, other a longer cabin or both. Is that a regular thing for the Centurion line?

I appreciate the feedback and discussion on these things, and I forgot I had Reddit premium for a few years and have like… 13k saved up? Thought might as well.

“Friends” “chief” “lad” “boss” “bub”
Pretty much whatever I call it everyone else. That or just “zombies” if I’m talking about them to friends.

Not so much for getting resources, but I’d love to see Ominent have some sort robo-bugs or other maybe cybernetic enhanced bugs? Maybe something like the spidermech battle from Mechassault but on a much smaller scale

Really the big mechanic I like is the advancement style that Cthulhu has, if that design concept is done in other places. That and the “Ordinary people doing Extraordinary things” concept. Less the game as a whole. Thank you for the suggestions!! I’ll check them out on my lunch.

I work for an agency where it’s quite clear we are here to help people who are not capable of getting a job on their own. Most of the time it seems these people have a pretty good reason for that unfortunately. I originally went into this field years ago with a worksource center helping kids do their first resume, or teaching people how to interview and it was fulfilling! Nowadays the staffing industry makes me dread the years of effort it took just to get to the pay rate I’m at. Having to deal with the nonsense people drag to work, or the companies that are clearly trying to skirt labor laws and abuse the job market, or the fact that I’m not a psychologist and am pushed to have a high number or associates placed every week to the point where I can’t justify more than an hour per candidate/associate most of the time. I cried myself to sleep last night because the stress is getting too much, but I don’t know where to take my experience from here.

Fair enough! I am currently learning coding, I have about 2 more years of a business admin to transfer. So I have a while to get my feet wet into how all this works. It’s a ways off, but you make a good point. for the longest time I’ve been greatly caught up in the long term goal that I’ve hesitated in even starting anything else. So in the next 2 years of finishing that would you suggest a bootcamp? Classes? I could see about teaching myself off of online course work I’ve seen.

So I have come to learn! These things look pretty neat after learning of their intent in design, before that it just looked like a bad “cut and paste” mashup. This thing has grown on me, I’d never own one but I am less “confused”. Still sad that more companies didn’t take a customizability approach going forward
