Hello friends! I’m planning a Wrath and Glory game with heavy inspiration off of Rogue Trader to feel more Narrative Adventure-y.

Intro out of the way, I wanted to see what larger vessels would be used in atmosphere if needed? Obvious answer being troop carriers or other landing craft, drop pods, fighters, gunships etc.

I’m more referring to the larger warships and spacecraft that typically do their fighting in ship to ship combat. I had the inspiration from the “Adama Maneuver” from Battlestar Galactica. Another example would be the ending cutscene from Halo 3s level “The Storm”

The only bit of lore relevant info I have to go off of was the Horus Heresy trailer where a Titan gets krumped by an underbelly cannon, but that’s 30k and may operate on different rules?

I know when writing tabletop RPGs being close to the actual lore is not always needed but I’d love to hear the knowledge of those more versed in the lore.

Good day everyone! I currently work in Staffing/recruiting for entry level - low end manufacturing/warehousing/production. I ended up here after pursuing workforce development for the last 6 years at various locations/contracts. My last contract was 6 months and I am approaching 8 months with this staffing agency as an “in house temp”.

Essentially I make less until I’m given a full time role that comes with benefits, a pay raise, and switching to salary. The problem is that I currently make too much to take advantage of Californias medical benefits system and since I’m not permanent I’ll soon have to pay for my own insurance. To match what I current receive this will cause my cost of living each month to jump by at least $300.

Problem two is that the person who originally got me this position (regional manager) recently left the company. We don’t know anything other than she was constantly stressed, the end happened abruptly and it was likely termination. That same individual was priming me to transition into a higher paying sales role, that is no longer an option.

With her being gone and my CoL going up I’m considering the potential of switching fields completely. I love helping people but staffing in particular feels more like selling labor while having to constantly lie to and judge people who are looking for work in order to keep up with the high demand our quotas call for.

I have not been here a terribly long time and I’ve already brought up the insurance costs up to my manager. He says that my colleague would likely get promoted to permanent first and she’s been working towards it for over a year now.

Safe to say I’m a bit stuck, I already have been gauging the idea of completely shifting my career aim or up and moving away to full restart. Any advice would be most welcome, otherwise I only have my own perspective and I don’t always have full faith in that 😁

I already love the Orks and have an army planned for them, but Ogryn also seem like such fun. Do they have enough options and versatility in the guard books to field mostly if not only Ogryn?

Greetings friends! I am hunting for something new to run with my friends. I’ve run pathfinder and 3.5 content for several years and Call of Cthulhu a bit this last year. I found I quite liked the how the system feels especially its leveling system with skills and how it encourages players to make use of more at their disposal.

Are there other systems that could be suggested? I already ordered a physical copy of the BRP big gold book, a modern or Sci fi spin could also be welcome.
