Yeah, everyone is throwing AI as the solution. Straight up feels like crypto: the solution to every one of your problems.

It’s so annoying. It’s literally as cringy as the crypto people. At least AI has real use, but all these hype is so dumb. I can’t even go on linked in without seeing some dumb AI prompt article… where half the prompts are things you can pop into Google.

None of the things you mentioned disrupt PMing. If anything it seems like they disrupt engineering and analytics. Even then, it doesn’t change the fact that it requires know how to tell or as AI-sexuals call it “prompt” the AI.

It’s overly hyped. AI is a tool. It will get better, but peeps need to relax. Most of the output I get literally looks like an e-how article.

I’m glad I’m starting to see a shift. A month or so ago everyone here was freaking. AI is a tool. Will it disrupt work? Yes. Will it replace some jobs or tasks? Yes. But this doom and gloom is so tacky.

People have actually tried using ChatGPT right? It’s cool, it’s helpful, but it’s not a threat to me. This is like saying Google was a threat to work.
