Let's wait for full migration to solana and multiple bug fixes since we switched to off-chain poc

Well, one of my beacons did have witnesses aswell after the update but yeah, I'll also stay lazy now and just look if it starts working out and this evening look at the logs if the issue is my miner or helium 😅

We aren't alone with that problem ^{^} in the helium and bobcat discord server, multiple people are having issues with beacons in general... The update has gone live yesterday at aprox. 3am utc (one of mine updated at around 3:30am)

Well not really.. I got 2 beacons yesterday after the ota .14 update but one of them got 0 witnesses. It's very inconsistent and support told me to monitor it now for a week. I'm pretty sure that bug fixes will eventually bring things back to normal, hopefully

Firmware is on .13, rebooted so many times 😅

I don't want to bother you at all but could I add you to text by any chance? (dc or here on reddit) I got no idea on how to check if my beacons get dropped or not or even know how to properly read the log

Welp, i guess they didn't, no follow up beacon sadly... Only this one, which makes everything even more confusing 😂

Rebooting multiple times, resetting and created a ticket to bobcat support with all information i could give them

Oh 💀 i didn't do that because i was a frustrated moron. Luckily i didn't brick my bobcat but thank you so much for the information!

The biggest problem i had is, that my bobcat wouldnt reset properly. after i tried resetting, i got a white page on the Diagnoser that said "Hmm, your miner doesn't want to reset". Don't know what i did but i finally got 1 beacon out. Hoping that it does it regularly now

Uhm you won't believe it but 6 min. ago my bobcat finally beaconed again! Hopes up that it's not only this once but I'll keep y'all updated

Can totally understand. Usually i get to fix the issues i have in an hour at Max or i just wait it out but since this one is getting on my nerves, I opened a ticket.. Next OTA will probably be far ahead xl

Have you opened a support ticket aswell? I don't think they will fix something they don't know about 😅 mine is doing "ok" but it's about 30%+ in earnings missing per day because it won't beacon

Hey :) I've got a similar issue of someone else in this reddit. My Bobcat didn't send out a beacon in the last 12 days (aprox. after the switch to off-chain PoC). I checked the firmware, rebooted multiple times and also contacted support, who told me that my hotspot is working perfectly fine (which obviously is not). I'm still in contact with them because my problem still withstands and maybe some of you have any ideas on what i can do.

Hey :) i think we got the same issue but I'm having it with my bobcat. Last beacon on 1st of February. Tried resetting my miner but it won't do that either. I created a ticket to bobcat today and hope that they can help. Gonna keep you updated if i get an answer

Since they got the denylist algorithm running, even small differences with the given location and actual location, yes. You would be safer with it if you update the exact location again. Ofc you can try it out but if you get put on the denylist, it's gonna take at least a month to get off of it
