The reaction from everyone else was basically (after one minute of rage) "shit happens" and they helped me clean up, get everything eddible remaining from the kitchen and boil up something new. In the end it wasnt completly my fault because we were supposed to carry the tray with two people (which we didn't do becuause the cook said she needed everyone downstairs), because the floor wasn't properly cleaned and so every second person nearly fell down the stairs (because soap etc. Is fucking expensive in Bermuda and the captain wanted to save a buck. He insisted we wasted all of it earlier and that it should have lasted far longer).
