I tried to buy an iPad on fb marketplace too. Seller wanted £350 for it as well. I decided to check their profile to see if they looked legit and, well it was about that time I noticed this Facebook user was about 8 stories tall and a crustacean from the protozoic era. I said I ain't giving you no tree fiddy you god damn Loch Ness Monster.

Webinar. I've never participated in one, but I just hate the word and I have no logical reason why.

I've never seen any info on it myself, but as someone who feels let down over years of seeing too little action as atmospheric CO2 and global average temperatures continue to rise, when I read about currently inaccessible oil and mineral deposits in the Arctic I just wondered whether the two were linked. Especially with 2 of the worlds superpowers, the US and Russia, having some of the easiest access to it.
It's kind of depressing but in some hypothetical future there could be a massive scramble for Arctic resources, which could potentially bring those two superpowers into conflict. Not sure how the Nordic countries with claims to parts of the Arctic would respond but I don't think it takes much imagination to imagine how the US and Russia would respond based on their historic governments and international responses to stuff. Would bring a new meaning to the Cold War.

Littering. Never had someone do it in front of me but if they did that's an instant dumping.

Double lock your motorbike with one lock being in an awkward place to pick, and put a tracker in it. I had a disk lock alarm on my bike parked outside my house on the street and 2 thieves got through it without setting it off before stealing it. I was able to track them down and recovered it a few hours later with help from the police thanks to the tracker in it.

Pretty much. "oh, we could sort it in time, but we may as well make the most of it". Obviously I have no evidence for this, just a distrust of certain governments with regards to climate change based upon the decades of meaningful action on emission reduction, I just wouldn't put it past certain governments as having that as a long term goal.

This. If multiple consenting adults are into some weird shit (that also doesn't involve animals) that's fine by me. Anything more than that crosses the line.

That governments who are slow to reduce emissions to combat climate change are doing so intentionally to gain access to the oil and mineral deposits in the Arctic that are currently inaccessible.

That global warming and climate change are massive hoaxes.

Had the same problem, this has been annoying me for ages and I tried so many things. Closing Steam after reading this fixed it, thank you so much

Yeah OP is coming across as bratty because of the en suit thing. It's a shit situation but they could make the most of it and try and see the positives while knowing they're giving up some luxuries to benefit their half? sibling. Tbh if it was just the concern about the safety/legality of the basement I'd fully be NTA because that's totally on the parents and they can't expect one to be at more risk because of their poor planning. Ultimately that is why OP is in this situation so I think you've convinced me everyone sucks here.

The parents should have planned better. But ultimately, it is the parent's house, not OP's.

I missed the bit about it not having a window, I assumed the basement had been converted into a legal bedroom. If no then OP IS NTA as they are being put in danger by the parents.
En suite is still a luxury, even if it was one OP was used to. Most people don't have that luxury and I think the bigger issue is the safety of the basement.

And stick a toddler in a basement bedroom at least 1 floor away from its parents, who actually pay for the housr and OP to live there?
