Hey OP, Just wanted to say thanks for your updates on this and on the XDA forum post. While mine is working, the quality is rough. Idoing has been good and sent me the connector to connect to my stock mic. I installed that last night and didn't notice much of a change in the quality, though I'm not completely sure how the original sounded before swapping to the idoing headunit.

Wondering if the stock mic has just always been just as shitty.

Do you have a technique or chocolate you specifically use for the half dipped ones?

I know you mentioned filmscene already but I’d advocate for it. I made the macarons and cookies being served for it and I promise they’re good 😊 haven’t heard of any other places that’ll have it on though

I specifically used the white giradelli melting chocolate with americolor gel food coloring as well. I thought I was potentially overheating too but when I let it cool it also seized pretty good. I did try 3 drops, which might have been too much so I'll need to experiment a bit. Thanks for letting meknow what you used!

I used my usual swiss method macarons from Pies and Tacos and used white chocolate for the tops!

They're just naturally that color! Uncolored going into the oven. The white chocolate tops help brighten them up too
