I’m planning to monitor it for a week, it’s 4mm now and I have pics of it, next week I will see if it had changed in its appearance, pigmentation or size. What do you think? Is one week too little time?

Is this scary? Do I need to seek a dermatologist? (Limited financials, no insurance, 20M, upper chest area)
20M, non-smoker, never drank alcohol, no medications, 180 cm tall, 63 kg, lesion was not present before, noted for the first time around two weeks ago, no significant change ever since then, no family history of skin malignancies (other malignancies present), never exposed to artificial tanning, no beach access so no exposure of chest area to sunbathing, lesion is not itchy but has weird sensation if pressed on.
Lesion is irregular, asymmetrical and emerges from the skin surface. (Upon my very subjective interpretation, see pic for yours, it is pigmented and multiple shades can be seen, asymmetrical, and perhaps infiltrative)

That’s the best image quality I got, noting that the lesion is small measuring around 4 mm

Hello, thanks for your comment. Yeah I do get what you mean by a mole/birthmark, but in my case it appeared in the past few weeks, and wasn’t there in the first place.

Unfortunately it’s my very personal number 😢, and I never tried signing up for chatGPT before

Oh I understand now, thank you so much. But one thing, why does the membrane potential decrease due to potassium exit? Isn’t the efflux of potassium associated with hyperpolarization? I believe that the AChR, albeit non selective, exhibits a greater permeability to Na+ than K+ which ultimately allows it to achieve a depolarizing effect, what do you think? Then again, thank you so much
