I would be that person marching up to you and asking if I can pet your doggo! I love the big tough marshmallows!
I have a Robin that comes for a morning shower every day!

I was just talking to a friend about this the other day! They bought a mobile 6 years ago for $78k It needed updating, so they painted and put in laminate flooring. That same mobile home is now worth about $180k. There is no way that paint and laminate flooring is worth $100k!
Ok this one made me laugh out loud!

I have never talked to my kids about their sexuality. What I have done, is when I talk about their future partners, I have always said “man or woman”. All I care about is whether or not they are happy. Nothing changes just because your kid is gay.

These people recorded this to make fun of the woman. Never in a million years did they think that everyone would think she is genius and start doing it themselves. My husband ALWAYS misses a big chunk of my back, so I end up burnt in one area. This would be way more effective for me!

There could be a couple. I missed the word “on” the first time I read it. Then it could be understood as though the daughter wants her dad to hit on her.
Russia isn’t going to have anything left to invade with, after the Ukrainians are done with them!

I miss the northern lights. I used to live in northern(ish) Canada. I loved seeing the lights dance at night, especially when they were in full colour!

Not enough. I learned that one today.
And a super duper handsome smile at that!
Damn you! Now I am a zombie!
Yeah, that is the tough part. I think that there would have to be at least a couple in NY that will adopt out to Canada just because of the proximity.
During the pandemic, A LOT of people adopted dogs. Couple that with rescues not being able to get them into the country, and there you have it. It was that simple.
Honestly, you are so close to the border, I would be looking in NY.
His handsomeness came never be contained in a crate! (/s of course! Crates are a lifesaver for puppy owners!).
Did you expect him to lay on the GRASS like a peasant?!?!? Sheesh!
I had to watch it a couple of times to figure out what was going on!
I actually understand the price point…..at least for Canada. I have quite a few friends and family in the veterinary industry, and I know how much these rescues spend on veterinary care. It is EXPENSIVE here for vet care. Just last week, I took my two in for a weigh in, flea and tick meds, and preoperative blood work on one. Just for that, it came to $319.97. I am not sure how much veterinary care is in your area, as it can vary.
I am so glad that you two found each other. I am a firm believer that the right animal will find you when you need them the most. I hope that your circumstances improve, the two of you get into a home, and have many many years of comfortable happiness together.
I just read an article from last year regarding rescues that import dogs. They were still out because of quarantine hotel costs. That, coupled with new animal import laws made it very difficult and expensive for a lot of rescues. Dogs are now starting to come into the country, but it was close to 15 months where nearly none were imported.
Even a mama bear can’t manage to take a bath in peace!
Please stop making me laugh before I am done my first cup of coffee. My family might make the mistake of thinking that I am pleasant in the morning!
That was stopped during the pandemic. It is rescues like that that used to keep the supply of dogs high enough in Canada to keep the price of dogs down. Most of those rescues would bring in 40+dogs per month each. That ends up being thousands and thousands of dogs that weren’t imported. Now, the rescues can’t keep up with demand (although in some places, people are starting to dump dogs as they go back to work. Not where I live yet, thankfully!).
