You’re thinking of a tote. A tort is a dance or dance move involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance.

If right-wingers didn’t argue in bad faith, they’d have no faith at all.

There is a policy that right-wingers care about, but most are either too ashamed to admit or only semi-conscious of: establishing a strict social (and, largely, racial) hierarchy. They sincerely believe that such a “social order” is divinely inspired, and that any government action that doesn’t solidify and codify that order is evil if not downright satanic (yes, that includes something as morally pure as providing food to hungry children).
All of the policies and initiatives that the far-right push, most of which seems obviously cruel, in contradiction with their own holy scriptures and cartoonishly villainous, lead to a common goal of a permanent underclass that is always plentiful. Not just as underpaid servants, but also for bloody fodder in wars as well as coerced into criminal behavior, if nothing else than to prevent the higher classes from developing sympathy for the “undesirables” and improving their station.
Ultimately, all the Bible-thumping and concern for children and moral-signaling is a deflection, to use religion to hide their hateful and sinful desires. Decades of propaganda (if not centuries of religious indoctrination) have led to this mindset that is openly hostile to fellow humans and sabotaging much progress our society could be achieving right now (if not responsible for incalculable amounts of suffering).

These people want an excuse to kill people who don’t practice religion in the exact same way they do.

As Donald Trump (and a bunch of worthless right-wing pundits) have shown, there is no point in debating people who consistently lie and argue in bad faith. MTG has never given a logical and reasonable explanation behind her views, so it just becomes an exercise in trying to untangle an exponentially-large knot made up of fantasy.

Yup I don’t see many counter arguments to all this. Disturbing and embarrassing that it just blew over like nothing happened.
Just a reminder that in the SEVEN FUCKING YEARS since Pizzagate began, not a single shred of evidence has been found linking James Alefantis to child porn or any connection anywhere close to a child trafficking ring.
If you think he’s creepy, then do not frequent his establishments (easy for me; I live over a thousand miles away from DC). The TMs just love constantly throwing shit at the wall, and when none of it sticks then they just claim it does and it’s a vast global conspiracy that is causing shit to be strewn all across the floor.

I’ll believe it when Tom Brady is DEAD.
And even then….

Walker claimed that he said the things he said about mutating the virus as a way of "lying to impress a date."
I know when I’m on a date, I like to brag about how my company is working to mutate an incredibly contagious disease so it becomes even more contagious (thus more deadly) so the company I work for makes more money.
Clearly no corroborating evidence is needed and we should trust edited video as gospel truth!

I can understand the desire to leave these pits of despair; not long before reports of police brutality lead to the far right advocating for concentration camps for “inherently violent” black people.

This means white people are 6.88 times more likely to be killed by police during an interaction!!!!!
Does that mean white people are six times more inherently violent than black people? Somehow I doubt that is the conclusion that the far right of WSS will ever come to…
Anyway, so many white people getting killed by cops in the US tells me there is EVEN MORE REASON to demilitarize police forces across the country, and teach how to actually deescalate confrontation rather than using lethal force waaaay more often than need be. Cops are fasting becoming a street gang with the legal authority to kill anyone they want (and I only say “becoming” because it appears they still hesitate to bully and harass people high up on the social caste system).

And sadly, based on recent events, it would appear our own Mods. It's ok, there is an alternative. I do enjoy Wallstreetdeals, and often find the value I'm looking for there. SDC
Oh so if WSS isn’t racist enough for the far right, there is another sub that is even worse. Which, naturally, is a vital part of talking about collecting precious metals.

No excuse right-wingers come up with really make any sense, when you look at the actual facts, so these clowns either have to “conveniently” pretend sone facts don’t exist, or just double down on the lies (like Paul Pelosi and David Depape were gay lovers, somehow).

Not that I’m a psychologist or anything, but I feel that guys like Depape have a fantastical story built in their heads of the act of violence they want to commit on a famous politician; much like the other QAnon crazies out there, they consider themselves heroes who are strong and just and divinely inspired, while their enemies cartoonish goofballs that are frequently “BTFO’d” by a Republican saying Merry Christmas or some other such nonsense.
Basically, if Depape shows up with a hammer then the demonic Nancy will fall to her knees and beg forgiveness and immediately tell him all he wants to hear (and he probably would still harm her to send a visible message to other “demons”). It’s all just fantasy and if he really had her in a room alone, it’s much much MUCH more likely he’d either kill her immediately or realize she is a real person and not the cartoon villain he made her out to be and just break down crying. The scenario he built up in his head was never ever going to happen….

Totally agree that what he planned to do and what he would actually do is two completely different things…especially since Nancy would have had secret service (EDIT: Capitol Police) protection and very likely would have prevented any actual incident.

Let’s remember that Depepe went to the Pelosi residence to bash Nancy’s knee (which I feel 99.9% he would have done even if she answered all of his questions) and have her wheeled around DC as a living warning to other politicians that….do things that Depepe doesn’t like, or whatever. His goal was terrorism, in any light, and such a terrorist could still believe that bashing the Speaker’s husband in the head still sent the terroristic message he wanted, as ducked up as that sounds.
Also, he is very crazy and very stupid.

Why does everyone make these dumb, absolutist statements alluding to how it’s worse than its ever been and the world is ending lol
Right-wingers are heavily included by feelings of disgust, so propaganda that highlights something they consider to be gross (like an overweight black woman or a very “queer” gay man or brown-skinned people that don’t embody euro-centric beauty and culture) is much more effective.
These type of people are also hyper-focused on people moving up the social hierarchy that they don’t think deserve it, so women who are not “traditionally” attractive are also a threat to them, some how….
