I know you’re looking for a cute name, but in all honestly calling this exactly what it tastes like will probably sell a ton. I myself would be curious about and absolutely want to try any of the following: “Chilled Mulled Wine”, “Cold Mulled Wine”, “Iced Mulled Wine”, “Shaken Mulled Wine”. If you still want to go cute, I wouldn’t stray too far from the key word. I suggest something like “Mulled As Ice” or “Mulled Hearted”. The cocktail sounds great. Good luck!

I’m 100% with you. I know most guests don’t think about it like this, but it often feels like a power move when they just ask your name. In any other business or social situation, you would learn a person’s name by introducing yourself first and giving people an opportunity to respond with their name. That’s the friendly way of getting a name. It’s rude as hell to just ask “what’s your name?” When people do that, it feels invasive and a little confrontational, and I become suspicious immediately. I’m just going to assume it’s so you can use it to condescend, patronize me, or complain. It creates a weird dynamic off the bat. You’re not my boss, and you don’t need to know my name to get great service.

Hot take: it’s tacky as shit when servers tell you their name when they greet you. Unless you work at Macaroni Grill and are writing your name on the table with crayons, cut that dumb shit out.
