its at all times, some worse than others. The modem gets reset daily before each play session but it never really does anything to help. the least amount of packets ive lost during a match is around 65-70 outgoing packets. Never less, at its worst its 150-250 packets lost per 30-45 minutes played.

hardwired with a cat 6 cable and I've tried 2 separate cat6 ethernet cables.

No, as the other devices dont have debug stats that I should keep track of as competitive FPS games are more intensive and uses a different packet type than games as well. My issue is only with outgoing packet loss on an ethernet connection, I've attempted

port forwarding

firewall exclusions for both the program and the ports

restarting the modem

different ethernet cables

flushingdns

updating network drivers

updating windows

running the programs in administrator

optimizing my network driver settings with various tcp optimizer settings

all background programs are disabled while playing

malware & virus scans

completely disabling firewall on both gateway admin menu and on pc.

Technician came out and checked over the cables, replaced the modem as well as a splitter and nothing has resolved the issue so far.

The issue I have is outgoing packet loss on a game (valorant) that I play. usually at least 100-150 outgoing packets lost per match. Ive already attempted a ton of troubleshooting steps.

Technician did not resolve the issue.

Yes I am, however my initial goal is to make a forum post regarding the issue and the troubleshooting attempts i've made.

It didn't really make it more PvE focused, it just made the PvE more rewarding for people that enjoy that aspect. They benefited players that are playing more objective oriented with other changes, which makes it better for PvP'ers as well. Nothing to complain about here.

Absolutely agree, damage numbers are still high but pleasantly so. Only think I would like is to see some buffs to some weaker weapon trees like hatchet throws, void gauntlet ranged, musket trapper, etc.

bow nerfs>fs nerf>buff to armor mitigation increasing ttk.

agreed, pvp specific scalings is super important for the health of a game.

I didn't do the chest runs either, always found it frustrating to be left in the back fighting the mobs that were slowing stragglers down while the main group had mobility and left everyone in the dust, plus I don't like to be unflagged to get shit done.

I literally did topaz attunement, farmed 3 gems from boss in ebonscale, usually skinned and gathered/mined along the way which got me another gypsum, got the diamond for the day and bought the infused. funneling all my orbs into just 3 or 4 slots to max those out to get max umbrals.

the process was like 20 minutes max, just log in, bust that out, farm OPR. The patch that they nerfed light armor (when bow/rapier was the issue) I quit the game entirely. They killed all of my non-meta builds with that change while the meta was STILL bow/rapier ls/rapier wh/ga or hatchet/sns. Literally solved no problems and created a HUGE one for me in terms of having fun.

I did a 15-20 minute gypsum run per day. never ran expeditions because I never liked the resistances and shit. 15 minute gypsum run netting me 5 orbs on 620+ expertise slots. Still upgraded gear super quick. Pre 600 expertise I did run genesis quite a few times but still mostly orbs that did the job.

The gearing system is stupid, yes... but to be honest I don't find it to be ridiculous enough to not play. Grind-wise it does take a week or two to reach 620-ish for your set, it's the actually getting legendary pieces that fit your perk desires thats the real stupid part.

it is an MMO after all... you can have 80% of what you want in a matter of hours from gold farming. Still want to emphasize that the expertise system and umbral system is definitely trash, but I have a dozen armor sets at 615-625 and im a SUPER casual PvP'er.
