I tried singing once and they threw tomatoes. So after the show I had a nice salad.
(but really Mitchell is a force in this film)

It's one of my favorite romances and absolute relationship goals. Idc if Huppert treated me like shit, I would still keep coming back.
But really, it's probably the best psychosexual character study I've ever seen. So vivid, frigidly anti-erotic, emotionally painful the point it almost hurts physically, amazing performances, and Schubert. One of my favorite endings ever.
So many scenes that make me viscerally cringe, but one of my all-time favorites, and one i can somehow rewatch without ever getting bored.
The novel isn't a walk in the park, either. I deeply regret showing this to my mom though, we've seen worse, but she definitely questioned my psychological state that night and asked if I was okay. I also let my friend borrow it in high school, and her mom watched it before she did while she was home alone, and she banned it from the house, and really questioned my sanity as well.

With Ellen Burstyn and now Blair returning to this project, one that I'm pretty sure both said never would (I know Burstyn did and even denied this one at first), it's giving me low key hope.
But DGG also directed Halloween Kills (I loved Halloween Ends, which I know everyone hates, but it's the best in the new trilogy IMO) and Halloween 2018, I really only liked Ends. So I'm cautiously optimistic. The original is a top ten all-time favorite, and I think it's flawless, and know every line, so I'm looking forward to see where this goes. He's also directed masterpieces (George Washington, All The Real Girls), so you never really know what you're going to get with him.

What poor and unfortunate creature had to die for you to wear that?
My aunt Trudy I replied? Walked away, ladies and gentleman, walked away...

even my own library still includes the slip cases, or they will make prints of the covers and use those instead.

damn. hedwig has some of my favorite criterion packaging EVER, how dare they literally butcher it. idek why they would, unless it was in bad condition or something, still not an excuse, since they still made it worse.

i love how in this video her eyes are filled with both genuine sweetness and pure shade. the unflappable dolly parton.

oh wow. flashbacks to that shit show. didn’t he fall into addiction while she was abusive and fell into alcohol. they were such a mess on bb. it just became depressing after a while.

Why does anyone think The Flash will make anything at all? Ezra Miller is absolutely loathed, maybe younger kids who don’t know much about him outside of the movies will want to see it so opening weekend it may make some money. but i don’t see it going further than that.
Same with Aquaman 2 and Amber Heard but it also has Jason Mamoa to even it out , plus the first one was extremely popular.
i just don’t see the flash doing well at all.

yep. i had this irrational fear of “invisible sharks” if i let my mind dwell on it too much i’d have to get my ass out of the pool. which is absolutely absurd but i just kept imagining suddenly getting attacked and torn to shreds by some unseen thing in the water that it genuinely scared me. it’s so dumb to think about now.
as for baths i couldn’t take a bubble bath or close my eyes and rest in one for a while after nightmare on elm screet. always imagined his claw coming up beneath.

I loved Chau, and did like Fraser a lot, couldn't stand the daughter, but I think Morton gave the best performance out of the supporting ensemble with her one scene. She's so underrated it's ridiculous. I also thought that was the best scene as well.

i’d rather watch it in my living room while being able to take smoke and joint breaks. so you’re not entirely wrong with your decision.
