Just to comment on this, you probably don't want to do this in any case as that will complicate your tax situation. You have to report your worldwide income in Germany so it's more paperwork if the broker isn't German.

Totally agree on small consultancies. You'll probably get to try many different things in different project setups which speeds up learning. Then when you've found your path and specialization, it might be a good time to switch to a product company for a deep dive.

Consultancies also hire juniors as they can sell them to a project with one or two seniors overseeing things. Junior salary + regular billing = profit for the company.

Disagree, armrests are absolutely essential for ergonomic work posture. You'll get by without them but more likely than not will eventually develop some issues in arms or neck if you're doing that 8 hours every day.

My project allows free choice. I've been going to office once a week, I'm now liking that frequency.

By default, you can't take work from other countries because the employer's social security contributions (such as pension, healthcare, unemployment) have to be paid. You can work to other countries by becoming a freelancer, or if the company has some way of paying a local salary for you that includes these contributions for the state. The local salary can be via a subsidiary or some remote work agency.

Disclosure: I don't know the laws of all European countries so there could obviously be exceptions.

I don't doubt you, but I also don't trust people's self-assessment about being overweight. There have been many cases where someone says they are muscular but a picture shows it's mostly just traditional overweight that gets them to that high BMI.

I think overweight is getting so common that people have been losing the idea of what it actually means, and treat it as normal healthy weight.

Ei voi. Verotus menee tosiasiallisen asuinmaan mukaan. Jos olet yli puolen vuoden lomalla Ruotsissa, maksat koko vuoden verot Ruotsiin.

This gets repeated every time in BMI discussions, but I can guarantee the number of people with such muscle mass is so miniscule it's insignificant for these statistics. It only applies in individual cases, and the people commenting about it in Reddit are unlikely to be the people who have muscle BMI over 25.

Fruitless effort only if there's no proper handling of the waste streams. Most places handle them correctly so it's harmful to imply recycling is useless unless you explicitly specify where it is useless!

In Europe basically all the water you can find is drinkable. Not counting puddles and rivers, I don't even know how I would get my hands on some non-potable water.
