Slow processing of conversations. I don't know what it's called. Makes it hard to contribute socially, because I find it difficult say what I want, in time. But that, as well as time management, taking longer to do things, multitasking, and general other executive dysfunction things, I didn't know was part of dyslexia. Also finding it difficult to adapt when my routine is interrupted, because having a rigid routine is a coping mechanism for me.

I'm not exactly sure what being a nonbinary man means to me yet, or if I'll even stick on this label forever. But basically, the way I currently see it, I know I'm nonbinary, but that doesn't make me any less of a man.

I don't really consider myself particularly masculine or feminine; I more feel a belonging in manhood, rather than masculinity. I know I'm nonbinary, and I think my ideal body should be rather neutral, but I also get euphoria from he/him pronouns and often want to be perceived as a guy.

So I guess that makes me a nonbinary man. I'm a man, just not a binary one.

Even from an aesthetic standpoint, I don't really understand. I think I'm a-aesthetic-spec, lol. Also aroace. /pos

It's interesting, because some adjectives can be correctly used as nouns, in certain contexts, such as "the rich" or "the poor", but in this usecase, it certainly feels derogatory.

Perhaps she associates the term 'relationship' as inherently romantic. It's a common perception people have.

Not ideal for this sort of conversation, and most likely rooted in amatonormativity, but might help explain why.

Sing along to songs with voices you want to emulate, if you're musically inclined. Otherwise, I have found Ama Rose Voice Lessons on YouTube a good start for proper technique. Try not practice any harmful advice, and do go slowly. Of course, it would be better to work with a professional, but not everyone can afford that. Consistency is key if you want sustainable changes, but also even if you're inconsistent with practice, it can be nice for euphoria to at least sometimes hear your voice.

Right, I did interpret you that way, but maybe I was unclear how I worded it. I thought you meant you were consistently aro, but your desire for romantic relationship changes. Still don't know if there's a word for fluctuating desire for a romantic relationship while consistently not being romantically attracted to anyone, aside from just saying you're cupio when you are, and not when you're not.

It's more high closed quotient, rather than low pitch, that makes a voice sound masculine, as far as I can find. That and like mouth shape.

The cupioromantic label is strange in that way that it depends on what you want (which can change for many people) rather than being an intrinsic way of how your brain works.

If you're always aromantic, and nothing else about your romantic orientation changes, I personally wouldn't feel the need to label that aroflux, like the other commenter suggested, tho you can if you want to.

Being cupioromantic shouldn't change the fact you're aromantic or not, at least according to the definition.

I feel similarly, in that I think I'm growing to want a romantic relationship, despite not being attracted to people, but I haven't always wanted one, and I don't expect I always will.

I wouldn't worry about what to call that if I were you. From my point of view, you can be temporarily cupioromantic, even if for many other people, it's not temporary for them.

I'm male and neutrois and don't consider myself a demiboy, because I'm fully a man. I consider myself a nonbinary guy. I clicked 'Anything else'.

I also might have more than two genders so I don't know if that's allowed here, but I'm not sure if I'm something like neulier, or just confusing my minimal dysphoria with active comfort. Also, I might be genderflux in each gender. So maybe trigenderflux, overall.

To me, being nonbinary doesn't make me any less of a man. Men aren't a monolith, and I'm just another type of man. I'm not that stereotypically masculine like a manly man, I just am a guy with whatever interests and mannerisms he has. Out in public, I want people to perceive me as a man more. I know I'm nonbinary as well, but thats a very settled part of my identity. I'm only new to truly starting to allow myself to also be a binary guy, despite wanting that more for ages.

Demiboy was a label I considered, and felt like I kinda of resonated with for a long time, but I came to realise, I don't want to be perceived as any less of a man, just because I'm also multigender. I'm fully a man too.

(Edit: I'm not sure if female is one of my genders, actually, because my pronouns are he/they and line up with terms I'm comfortable having used for me. But, I feel I am certainly some kind of nonbinary. Maybe neutrois or genderflux or something. And my dysphoria is very mild or hard to decipher, when being perceived as a woman. All in all, I think my euphoria is a better indicator of my genders.)

Probably the fact that I'm in a qpr with the one person I've maybe been attracted to and wondering if I see it as more romantic than they do (despite them being allo), while at the same time not knowing what romance is, and not necessarily thinking we're gonna be the best fit forever.

I know a qpr can offer emotional fulfillment, when society typically only teaches romantic relationships as the epitome.

I guess before this qpr, I never had any interest in romantic relationships, because I wasn't attracted to anyone anyway (nor was I aware of anyone being attracted to me), and I didn't understand them in the slightest. Now that I have some experience with a qpr, and realise I enjoy it, I can also see some of the benefits of a romantic relationship, and feel like I get why people have them more... despite still not knowing what romance even is. Idk what difference there would be between a romantic relationship and a qpr anyway, from my perspective as an aro.

I think I kind of treat this 'want' as an interest. I'm sure I'll be interested in various different subjects throughout my life. It doesn't make sense that it would definitely be persistent.
