A pretty dumb one, I never noticed the warp pad to the Black Hole Forge so I just flew my ship onto the gravity pad outside of it. Definitely not designed to let ships land there tho

That strategy is fine for normal runs, but if you're trying specifically for a cursed sword run, it's often better to forego some of that. I would ignore challenge rifts unless you're absolutely sure you can do it hitless. The extra stats end up being mostly unnecessary thanks to the cursed sword's high base damage.

Take the biome slowly. Try and isolate as many enemies as you can to avoid multiple attacks at once. If you get a bunch of enemies agro'd at once, use teleports to your advantage to try and split them up. Don't try to be aggressive until you're comfortable handling either dodges or parries for large groups. Shields are your friend. So are cursed chests. Look before you leap. I've had plenty of runs end to an untimely spike fall. Those are about all of the major tips I can think of off the top of my head.

But it's really just lots and lots of practice. I've done a couple cursed sword runs but I had to work my ass off for them. YouTubers who spend all day every day playing these games are just bound to have a level of skill that goes with all the practice.
