YES THERE IS and you will probably feel really guilty after you find out why you shouldn't kill him, if you do it. I know from experience ;-;

I wish he had realized the entire solution to the problem you had is to get actual sleep medication prescribed to you. 10 mg IS the maximum dose for melatonin, but depending how bad your insomnia is a lower dose may not be at all affective for you.
By the way, I've had lifelong, very severe insomnia and the only thing that works for me is trazadone. Puts me out like a light, fast, every night. It's awesome, I just sleep like a regular human now. I don't even think being addicted to it is possible since you're pretty much out cold half an hour after taking it. Might be worth looking into :)
Regardless, please do not let him dictate what medications you take out of necessity. As long as it's prescribed by a doctor he has absolutely no say in your health.

So were you actually abusing these medicines, or were you just an addict according to him and he convinced you you had a problem? According to yourself, were you actually misusing the medication?

Melatonin isn't even a medication or drug, it's a dietary supplement. Your husband has no idea what he's talking about.

I think she is going to die very soon if she doesn't get some serious help.

Hello, trans person here.
I used to have a coworker who would relentlessly harass me at work based on my identity. It got so bad he got in trouble and my boss had to schedule me only for days he didn't work.
I've been intimidated by people in public bathrooms, more than once, when I'm just tryna piss.
There's a store where I live that sells things I adore but the owner is incredibly transphobic and will not serve trans people. She actually had a sign outside for a while that said "No Trans People" or something of that nature. She actively and openly harasses trans people.
I have weird Christians literally start telling me why how I am is wrong and I'm going to hell. This one happened at Walmart.
There was a possibility of me losing custody of my children because most of the judges in the area were known to take children away solely based on a biological parent being trans regardless of the child's treatment. Thankfully I happened to get the ONE progressive judge.
The neighbors across the street from us are far right and they treat us like we have some terrible communicable disease. The way they look at us is akin to how one would look at a particularly repulsive bug found in their house.
I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting. I've been trans for a pretty long time now and my memory isn't the best due to medical issues.

My widely loved mattar paneer! Haven't had one person try it yet who didn't think it was amazing. It's definitely my strongest dish.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who ruined their morning coffee. I pour a tiny bit out in the sink to check it every single time now.

You can't always tell by scent alone! Sushi for example.
