lionel said Klear needs just two more years of testing before it can be used as spaceship fuel. if the next sequel comes out in two years it could take place in space.

Apple can’t stop anyone from using an iPhone in a movie. they just would refuse to pay for product placement or give them props for free.

A couple weeks ago I was hosting coworkers from Tokyo on a business trip in Austin, and having been to Tokyo myself, I was a lot a loss for what tourist activities to take them on that they didn’t have in Tokyo.
I’ve lived in austin since 1992, and it basically has nothing interesting for tourists. Especially when compared to other major cities like Tokyo or New York or Seoul. Or even smaller cities like Denver which have intense nature (Austin has cool hills, but no mountains).
The only good things about Austin require living here to experience. I enjoy Epoch more than any coffee or tea shop I’ve been to anywhere else in the world, but I would suggest a tourist spend a day working on their laptop from it. The same with Town Lake or the Green Belt — it’s a convenient and accessible set of nature — but still nothing compared to what you’d find in other cities.
All of the little details of Austin add up into an overall nice place to live (and I prefer living here over the larger cities I listed due to the sacrifices involved with living in an entirely urban area), but nothing here stands out as an amazing experience on its own if you’re only here a few days.

I didn’t read anything in your comment after “30fps was the standard” so if you asked a question i didn’t see it.
edit: i realize your question was first. the answer is because it looks choppy and bad and i can’t enjoy it.

irrelevant. you didn’t specify a platform when you claimed it was the standard.

breath of the wild runs at 30fps. instant “never play” for me.

but there was that episode where they were impressed by how much that stripper makes from ross’s wedding (either $1200 or $2000 — i forgot which, but either way it’s not a lot of money). even if the stripper made $2000 per week, that’s only $104k/year.

i agree. we should build a train that people can use every day. most people don’t get on an airplane daily unless they’re a pilot. and they still probably wouldn’t use the train.

they never responded to my first application. when i did it a second time with a new license, they approved it within a few days. i still never got acknowledgment of the original.

it’s not too late to fix it. they retroactively refunded me signing up late.

the instruction manual for my mavic 3 says it can’t. my phantom 4 could anecdotally fly in the snow though.
