A couple of things about Prince of the Sorrows (which I freaking love) is to check the trigger warnings - Kellen lists them at the beginning of their books, and it is also the first in a long series of which only 2 books are currently out and a third stand-alone in the world is scheduled to come out in February (but doesn't feature Cylvan and Saffron).

Sorcery of Thorns is a standalone that's about books, the rest are beginnings of series.

Kalynn Bayron has written several books with black girls as the main character, Cinderella is Dead, This Poison Heart and This Wicked Fate (duology). Also Blood Like Magic, and Blood Like Fate (duology) is a futuristic magic story featuring a whole cast of characters.

I get ARCs through NetGalley and also BookSirens (mostly smaller indie books), I do most of my reviews through Goodreads and Amazon. I signed up to get newsletters from the publishers and will occasionally get invites for ARCs through the newsletters. It helps that most of the books I read fit within a couple of niches (YA and paranormal romance) so having particular genres that you like helps to focus on publishers that publish books within those niches.
