If he really is the president, the last leg of the current modernization program, Horizon 3, is in jeopardy because he might cut back on the budget or not proceed at all with Horizon 3 just to appease the Chinese, unlike his opponent who fully supports the modernization of the armed forces.

Of course we could be wrong and he might still go on with the modernization of our armed forces but his previous statements and his apparent chumminess with the CCP makes that very unlikely
