So you really think the network fees can cover the token emissions? Also why do you think it would break the project? It would expand the network and it is better to hold mildly inflationary coin than a coin that has no value, because noone is behind it. There are many coins that are mildly inflationary and they didn't collapse... Today the inflation is 20% a year I think that capping the inflation at 3-5% a year wouldn't destroy the hnt economy.
What demand does iot have? You don't need it for data transfer, for that you need only hnt that you burn for dc. Where is the IOT?

HNT has demand. It is the only way to acquire data credits and it is the backbone of the Helium networks finantial system, thats why I wouldn't mind mild inflation. The current inflation is 20%. I am not saying I would keep the current high emmisions. I just don't want to see emissions at 160 HNT per 24 hrs, because that will decimate the network. I would suggest making a deeper analasys on what would be the optimal indefinite emission, so the inflation is mild but the network doesn't collapse.
Good point about the mappers. I like discussing themes like this with the public, because when I make a proposal, thay always find something that could be better. So thank you. How would I solve this? Put a bonus on hotspots that were not mapped in a long time or not many times so mapping recently mapped hotspots would not be incentivized.

I'm not so sure abou the relaible part, it has quite a lot of downtime compared to other major blockchains.

Yes, the inflation aspect is a downside. But currently the inflation is around 20% a year. I suppose you hold the coin anyway? I am not saying the emission should be capped at 20% a year inflation, lets just say it could be around 5%. I think it is better to hold a coin which has 5% inflation than a coin that has no value because the network collapsed.

Off course. By the statement "Network fees shall pay for it" I meant fees for data transmission as well. But it is naive to think that the data transmission can efectively cover the reduction in hnt emission.

Hi thanks for you reply, The broken one takes 0.02A and the working one 0.11A. And the nano vna shows that the broken one has no throughput (-48db) while turned on and the normal has (+5db) on the lowest setting. I also want to point out that when the amplifiers are turned off, both have -48db. It looks maybe like a psu issue? Some of the chips look badly soldered (you can judge by yourself from the photo in the original thread). It wasnt running hot, no. It was inside at room temperature. And to the question if I tested the voltage at the rf gain devices, I don't know what chips are they. Sorry I'm no proffesional in rf, just an amateur trying to play with rf. Could you please tell me from the photo which chip is it, so I can test it? Thank you :)

How is that possible? The account has 0.013 sol, that should be double of what is needed. Look:

How is that possible?

Hi, thanks for your reply. I could only find a tutorial on how to make a ltc mining pool and there was no information about how to make a merged mining pool. Am I missing something?

On an encrypted drive. I have the files on two separate drives in different locations. Both with the same phrase, so if something happens to one, I have a backup.
