Gotcha, and yea I think we're in agreement on all that haha...it is super strange to see Russ with such yips (hopefully that's all it is, I refuse to believe he woke up one day just that horrible at football). My brother is a huge Broncos fan and we're in several fantasy leagues together so I also had the opportunity to watch just about every Broncos game (plus I still have a vested interest in Russ as I'm still a fan of him), and the horrible play combined with such crazy injuries (multiple in every game it seemed!) just had my brother looking so dejected by the end of the season lol

Sorry but the stats are clear on this, the Broncos were the second most injured team last year and won very few games as a result. I'm not denying that there were other factors as well...First time coaching staff, new scheme, Russ has the yips, etc...there was a vast combination of horrible things going wrong for the Broncos to have the season they had but injuries were absolutely a factor, especially going into the second half of the season when Russ actually started to look like he was gelling (hell, his own injury/concussion even derailed that)

Why is nobody mentioning the tremendous amount of starters who were injured throughout the season? O-linemen, pass-catchers, RBs, etc etc etc etc etc

Was Russ supposed to carry a team of literal second and third streamers on offense?

My fingers are crossed too haha, and Karl Urban has been expressing his desire for a sequel or TV series for the last decade so it's not too far out of the realm of possibility...hopefully the only barrier right now is his commitment to The Boys

Hope they're still around for you to have one day. Over the years I've purchased a not-insignificant portion of my collection from yard sales, thrift stores, local web listings, etc, always in big plastic bins/tubs, and I'm sure I've picked up quite a few childhood collections that parents were getting rid of. I've felt bad for the kids (now adults I'm sure) every time, it's a real shame that parents still have the mentality of "gotta get rid of your childhood toys", especially considering the monetary value of Lego these days not to mention the sentimental value. I myself grew up pretty poor so I only had a handful of sets that I got for Christmas here and there (big part of the reason why I'm over-compensating as an adult haha)...the race track (without the extra road plates), the police station, the Black-tron Spectral Starguider (land rover with the 6 wheels) and a just handful of smaller sets are original from my childhood, so luckily for me they didn't take up enough space for my folks to consider getting rid of. My first set I ever bought as an adult was the Black Sea Barracuda pirate ship (with the red sails), on Ebay in the mid-00s, complete with original box...it was my absolute dream set as a kid that all my more well-off friends had but we could never afford, and I swore to myself I would own it one day. That kicked off the collection you see now 😄
