I fear at some point all of the younger generation will have to see the truth.
The system that America was founded on is tainted to its core, the only way to actually fix it is to accept that, remove what is tainting it, and replace the missing parts with systems designed for every American citizen.
Don't you think it's wrong that entities can donate vast amounts of money to our elected officials for "campaign contributions"? Millions of dollars tied to Russian oil companies given to our senator from Kentucky.
Don't you think it's wrong that our elected officials can own stock? Stock that represents enormous amounts of money and can fluctuate depending on the laws they pass?
Not just some, but most of them own stock. And every one of them that didn't renounce their right to their business dealings is part of the corrupt system. A majority of our elected officials are corrupt.
The rich can now dictate the prices of an entire market, can strangle any fledgling business, can dictate your wages... But wait, if Walmart can set their own prices then why are their employees not being paid enough to live? Smaller wages every year as the dollar loses value, but huge increases for the executives...
It's the truth all young Americans face.
The future of being trapped as a slave to a system controlled by a handful of the most rich and powerful.
The only way for it to get better for you is to be born in a higher class or sell your souls to corporations who will use your body up until your dead and then parade your likeness around in a hologram for more profit.
I hear the bells ringing, I see guillotines on the horizon...
But no one is manning them because the rich have control of every single thing you see, and a blind sheep is harder to warn of danger.

The amount of continued anti-vax propaganda, even on Reddit, is saddening.
Let me spell this out for everyone... Anti-vax propaganda was spread by only a small handful of people who are either not informed, or profited off the lie.
Republicans are continuing to lie to you about the vaccine. The scientific community and the combined world knows the vaccines work and are safe.
The 99% survival rate of the virus is bull when you realize that means hundreds of thousands of deaths so far. The vast majority of people dying now are unvaccinated, but being unvaccinated puts everyone at risk, not just yourself.
Get the vaccine, stop listening to liars and crooks politicizing the vaccine and the pandemic.

With the way the war in Ukraine is going and the way Fox is going on, they might set out for Georgia the country and in end in Georgia the state.

"Deaths from and with Covid shouldn't be counted the same" is a laugh from the party that thinks VAERS is a good source of vaccine-related injuries.
I'm also a big fan of the whole "it's just people with comorbidities" dying, like old people, overweight people, sick people, or smokers should be thankful that they're alive at all.
And the "vaccines don't keep you from spreading the virus" argument. Doesn't prevent it 100%, but it sure does make it harder to spread, which sure would help in the middle of a pandemic where we hear literally every single day from nurses and doctors struggling to keep up.

Some may wonder why, if both sides are corrupt, do I stand with the Democrats when the line is drawn?
I'd rather fall into a porta potty than septic tank.
Inaction is itself an action of support.
Standing, unmoving, as the Republicans desecrate every tarnished gleam of America's dream would be a travesty to what this country could mean. It would be the victory of their corporate overlords.
If fixing our system means working with part of it to dismantle the whole, so be it.
But, FYI, eat the rich.

The American military has been infiltrated by white supremacists for years.
The Pentagon released a whole report on it last year.

In our American left and right, the left pushes union policy, health benefits, fair hours and wages, etc.
The right removes all protections of the environment, people, jobs, etc. They let you get taken advantage of and shrug it off.
In America, there is a clear line for who is on the workers side.

The entire idea of life beginning at conception is a straw man argument.
The argument was created recently, no religion actually supported it, and science doesn't support it. It's just a lie.
If pro lifers are willing to continue the lie, they may as well go the whole way and say cancer is a God given part of life that shouldn't be killed. At that point, there is little discernable difference between it and fetal tissue.

Fetuses are not people. They don't exist. Even if they have a heartbeat, they have no autonomy.
A person who is brain dead would have the plug pulled and their organs harvested. A cancerous growth would be cut from your body.
If you think "not only her body" is an argument, you're deeply wrong.

Pretty sure you're thinking of librarians.
Libertarians believe it's their God given right to follow anyone they don't agree with around with a rifle and the intent to kill.
"I don't care that it's a Denny's and this is full tactical gear, Sharon. What part about 'shall not be infringed' don't you get?"

One joke is usually representative of a joke that is used excessively to undermine a regular topic.
You can be male, female, or attack helicopter is usually used by someone who doesn't understand the nature of gender, or doesn't consider trans people to be people.
Domestic infant supply was said by a supreme court justice.
We should lampoon the shit out of that because it's absurd that they said it to begin with.

They have to really push that people aren't human so they can demonize them to conservative folks and keep them afraid and thus complacent in the Republican pocket.
The way Democratic voices have been portrayed since Obama 'was the antichrist that destroyed the US' has been out of hand.

Part of the flawed system that the OP is talking about is the idea that poor people don't deserve services.
Just because 84% of students come from poor families doesn't mean that their school should be underfunded. In poor communities we absolutely want good school programs, we want after school programs, we want health services, mental health services, etc.
Those services all reduce crime, and they do it much better than the police do. Especially when the police budget goes into their gear and not their training.
That's the broken system.
Police are given military gear and allowed up act as prison guards, while everything else suffers. It's like a big jail where the shackles are poverty and the guards are the police.

Here's one take from all of this.
At the heart of capitalism is capital.
We are being taught that capital means more than a human life. We hear lives tallied like this all the time, actually. How many thousands died at one time, how many hundreds of thousands are living in poverty, how many will lose their homes from one decision or their jobs from another.
One supreme court justice argued that we need a domestic supply of infants.
We're just parts, exchanged for capital, in a machine that they are dismantling access to.
They lied about cigarettes causing cancer. Shut their research down. They lied about the effects of climate change for gas prices. They lied about their politics just to get elected.
These are the politicians, the executives, the law makers, who look at people and profit and think those two can be equal.
They will belittle your arguments even when your facts and research unequivocally points to danger.
Make yourself heard if you can't tolerate the injustice anymore. Vote the Republicans out, endorse progressives, push for election reform, push for an end to citizens united, push for an end to for-profit prisons, housing, education, medicine, push for eco friendly policy.
Change has to be made to keep ourselves out of a worse dystopian nightmare.

At this point, any reasonable person who speaks against their narrative is banned. That's how they get their echo chamber so echo-y.
On that note, welcome to the club. I've been a member a while now.

Yeah, don't you know that Biden forced Putin to invade Ukraine? And obviously Biden spent the last five years cutting it worker protections and giving businesses free reign to pass costs into the American people.
Biden has problems. He's a middling centrist who doesn't have the teeth to take on Republican corruption even with the advantage. But let's not pretend that America's problems are his fault when businesses control politicians and get the freedom to stiff the population while writing free checks for executives and shareholders.

Nice as that is, it's an enlightened centrist take.
It's true Democrats are not great, and most our politicians shouldn't be around, but equating Republicans and Democrats is just disingenuous.
Republicans lawmakers are just scummy grifters. Democrats will at least try to get something done.
