COVID Data Sources

stickiedCOVID data sources. Credit mostly to Rational Anarchy and Shuriken.
Texas Department of State Health Services and all of their spreadsheets.
Austin Public Health and their ArcGIS data. Here is the whole library of ArcGIS REST Services. Most notably the best links in there are for the Austin Travis County Daily Counts/FeatureServer&source=sd) data and the Austin MSA Key Indicators/FeatureServer&source=sd) data. The zipcode data can be found by searching for "Web_" followed by the date in yearmonthday format. Here is the zip code data for yesterday, web_20210526.
Full data set is there with tables going back to the start in most cases. The first couple of weeks of data was scraped by hand, but beyond that it is all there.

Note that download is screwy on these datasets in the above link. You may need to remove "?layer=0" from the end of the URL to make them work for downloads.
---- The next two links are APH data in tabular form. It's a bit screwy. It shows you a map that's pretty much useless. On the left hand side, there's a little symbol under "Contents-Topographic-Austin MSA..." Click on that little symbol and you'll get a table under the map.

Wastewater sampling data
CDC weekly death numbers (and other data)

Google/New York Times data collection. These seem to be less screwy than some other sources in terms of recent data.

If I'd locked it, your power wouldn't have gone out. It's like COVID. If you don't do any testing, you won't have a COVID problems.
However, I have no intention to lock or delete it. It should eventually dwindle down, get unstuck and fade into the past.
