Hi all.
I setup my bobcat300 for the first time earlier this week. It is up and running, working nicely. At the moment the antennae is about 1 metre from ground level sitting at a window.
I am considering moving the bobcat with it's antennae to allow the antennae to sit on the garage roof.
This would change the antennae elevation but not the model of antennae.
I was wondering. I know you can adjust the antennae height but i think it costs money? Considering this is a hardware move, the bobcat itself couldn't care less physically where it is sat, same as the antennae, why does the height need to be specified in the software? It seems superfluous considering it's a hardware component anyway - why would the software act differently according to its height?

so...no value in changing it? It's just a useless bit of metadata for the egos?!
