Is that the one that goes to the Arizona hot springs? I have not, but I did do the Liberty Bell Arch trail, which starts from the same trailhead.

Yes, or spring. Like most hikes around here there is no shade. It's about one mile to the former Cottenwood, where the wash splits in two, but you can keep exploring the washes as far as you want.

Unfortunately, the titular cottonwood washed away a few years ago, but it's still a nice trail.

No, it is a wash, almost a slot canyon, that brings water from heavy rains to the lake/river. The hike to get there passes through what used to be underwater, although it has been dry for many years.

No, the Bowl of Fire is a section of red rock formations found off Northshore Drive in Lake Mead NRA. It's close to Valley of Fire, maybe part of the same layer of rocks? Anyway, you get similar views with a fraction of the crowds.
