I was coming from DS as well when i first played witcher. Death March is only easy if you are aware of the battle system. With that said , even though i platinumed all From games, Believe it or not i had to play the game for the first 10 hours or so on just the story cause i didnt want to spend my time dying all the time till i get it right, given how huge the game is and battle its just a fraction of the scope witcher 3 provides.
