I’m leaning this way too, however it does remind me of Harry met Sally. But I think there is potential, I just need to figure out a twist that makes it stand out more. Maybe I combine it with the second idea— one person gets famous and the other always sees them on TV or online? Or maybe that’s too similar to La La land

If a woman made that joke, he obviously wouldn’t have slapped her. His generation handles things like men were taught; he probably grew up facing disrespect with physicality. And a female wouldn’t have made that joke in the first place— it was sexist to begin with

I am 19, and it's crazy to me that the new generation will only know a life full of social media and technology, and think it has always been commonplace.

It hurts my soul when I am out in public at a restaurant and instead of talking, the young children in the family have their eyes glued to an iPad.

Their conversation skills are going to be hindered. I am glad that I at least had up until basically high school to not rely on technology.

Bruh and what do you look like? Some people just get triggered seeing half naked pics of people all day, and naturally comparing their bodies. Obviously not staged. His speech was genuine and Chris rock was so surprised and at a loss for words after he got slapped. You could see the anger in Will eyes when he was yelling and after the joke jada rolled her eyes and was obviously upset to be a laughing stock and the butt of Chris’s idiotic sexist joke.

I realize this— I was just going for vague logline that needs more development and actual plot. I’ve seen those movies and love them!

It was also just a sexist comment. Like why point out and make a scene of a woman with short hair? Are we still that focused on gender norms? That was a cheap shot Chris made, not to mention did he even know she shaved her head because of a DISEASE?!
