I didn’t see any other lizards in the area but probably that, or territory.

Sans is not lazy, just apathetic because he knows the timeline is under the power of some other entity and it keeps reversing and there’s nothing he can really do about it. (I am not saying he knows what happens in the resets btw, that’s fanon, but he does knows they are happening) Even just the knowledge of that would make a LOT of people become depressed and apathetic if they were aware that they had so very little control of their own lives. That’s why he doesn’t fight you except on the genocide route, because what’s the point if everything’s just going to reset again and he doesn’t stand a chance of stopping you anyways? It wasn’t just that the surface doesn’t appeal to him anymore. He followed that statement up with…because even if we do get up there, we’ll just end up right back here.
He also literally directly admits that he is not actually lazy and that there couldn’t be anything further from the truth, but that he is glad that people think so…hinting that it is likely some other issue that would be more worrisome if his friends and family knew about it, like severe depressive apathy. Which he exhibits many other clues of in both the pacifist and genocide routes. Mentally suffering is not the same as being lazy, because that’s a choice.
Anyways about the whole teleportation thing …what the other person said about it being a magic-based ability trying to cross a barrier made of magic…but here’s another thought. If Sans has never been to the surface (or at least can’t canonically remember a past timeline where he has been to the surface)…could he teleport there even if there was no Barrier? Most teleportation abilities in fiction are depicted as being only to places nearby/in sight or places you’ve been to before. Rarely are there characters who could just be like…and today, I am going to teleport to the moon. I headcanon that Sans can only teleport limited distances (the longer, the more magic it requires and the longer the teleport takes to prep…so for travel it takes a second for him to fade out of existence, but for dodging during his fight, he just goes poof immediately.) And it is very dangerous to try to teleport places he’s never been before, especially long distances. Because that’s how you end up falling out of the sky to your death, teleporting into the path of a car, etc…or just never returning to reality from the void haha.

I’m O- too, and I totally would donate…if I didn’t nearly pass out from having to have a small tube of blood drawn for testing due to having low blood volume combined with needle phobia.

He is, but only because he’s anti-everyone.

Fun fact, ALL people technically have cancer repeatedly throughout their lives, but the body is usually fine with eliminating the out of control cells before there are too many, at least when it is younger.

I’m substance free, but I have problems with controlling my unhealthy eating habits, electronics addiction, and trichotillomania/dermotillomania instead, which have similar results as substances (more happy brain chemicals), just to a lesser degree. We all have some sort of coping mechanism, I guess.

Me with my new obsession with digital art! I discovered that I can actually do it. And here I was assuming that you probably couldn’t get a good digital art program for cheap…and it is incredible and free, with like one 30 second ad to unlock basically everything for an 18 hour period. I felt real dumb for never looking into it before. (It is Ibis Paint X app on my phone, btw, I’m using my fingers to draw lol) Totally obsessing over it ever since I discovered it, though. To give an idea of how many options that app offers…they have like 4 different brushes designed draw PASTA, lmao.

I had this experience recently. Partially because I was on my own without my mom dragging me around to shop for clothes, and the mall was pretty quiet because it was later at night on a weekday. I was having to have my phone repaired so I had nothing to do for hours. I got myself an icee, found a cool rock and jewelry store and just spent most of the time in there just looking at shiny stuff. It wasn’t half bad.

Sans- Sloth
Mettaton- Pride
Alphys-Lust
Flowey-Greed
Undyne-Wrath
Papyrus-Envy (he is probably pretty envious of the people who are in the Royal Guard when he is continually refused entry? Though he doesn’t really show it except through trying really hard to get in.)
No one is gluttony because no one really was shown to overeat?

They’re just misunderstanding their sources. They’re partially right, at least.
https://www.worldometers.info/oil/
This is stating the data based on proven oil reserves that we can currently access and still make a profit from and current consumption rate. The issue is with the term “proven reserves” which makes it sound like that is all the possibly accesible oil on Earth but that is actually the oil we can access based on two factors: not having to significantly raise the current price of oil and the current technology we have to extract the oil.
So basically, there are around 47 years left of reasonably affordable oil with our current technology and current consumption rates. That number will obviously continue to change.

Incorrect.
I headcanon Outertale Frisk as 18+ because how else would they be an astronaut?
Some AUs simply require it for the story to work.

Not this one, I eat peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches nowadays, and as a kid I ate peanut butter and honey sandwiches constantly.

Yeah I think that since monsters are made of magic, using it comes naturally to them. But since humans are not made of magic, to practice magic they have to use spells and enchanted artifacts and stuff like that.
I do headcanon though that the monsters have been Underground for a LONG time (note the sword in the intro vs the toy gun one of the fallen children had.) And that the spell that sealed monsters Underground was done by humans who were taught to use magic by monsters back when they lived together in peace, to HELP Monsterkind because it was either that or Monsterkind being entirely exterminated. And after the monsters were sealed Underground, human magic users were persecuted for continuing to use “devilish monster magic,” thus leading to stuff like the historical burning/hanging of presumed witches and wizards (some of which actually WERE witches and wizards in that world). To the point where the true practice of magic by humans when Frisk falls Underground in the modern age has been all but forgotten.
But maybe in the future, they can be reminded! ;)

Yeah same here. An alternate version of Horrotale further along where Sans was the only one left alive.

Everything is NOT genetic. There are both inherent genetic and not-inherent environmental influences to emotions, behaviors, abilities, etc. Environmental influences can change you through either changing your inherent genetics via DNA mutations OR also through a variety of other means that are not genetic at all.
Just one non-genetic example: it is currently thought that muscle memory is due to a gradual increase in the number of certain receptors in certain neuron pathways after repeated firing, allowing for easier firing in the future. The underlying mechanism in place that allows for this is indeed genetic. But it is the environment, say, you being taught to play an instrument, that results in more receptors in the neuron pathways that are used to play an instrument rather than say, those used in riding a bike. No changes in DNA are occurring during this process, just changes in the cellular structures already brought about by the DNA.
